for the blackeye checkpoint you can wait about half way down the ramp for jhonsen to say stay clear of the door, and when he does you should have enough time to get to the skull to make the checkpoint standing on the skull, as for sputnik if you keep sword swiping the checkpoint won't come until you stop sword swiping, so you can get a checkpoint standing on the sputnik skull, as for grunt birthday party how did you get a checkpoint that close to it, I usually get the checkpoint in the banshee
@LDG519 Yeah I've been so lazy about improving that black eye checkpoint. I still use this same one. Grumpy told me about the melee trick to delay the checkpoint, quite cool and works perfect for sputnik. With grunt birthday party, just fly down there immediately as soon as you get the banshee. You have to wait a long time but your ally phantom will fight through the enemies and eventually trigger a checkpoint. You could be standing on the skull if you wanted.
I was going to do this but was wondering if theres a less time consuming way to get to the appropriate missions without having to do the campaign each time for all the profiles?
@video143 Hello my friend. Well, I was dead wrong on this. There's a great way to do it.Start a co-op campaign with any "all levels" player and bring in the new player. Beat High Charity. Once the new profile completes the level it will have every level, only having to go through HC once and to boot it's a pretty quick level. Thank the master Grumpy for that one, he posted on bungie.net and I stumbled upon his thread. He's one of the best trickers out there check out Grumpy1 (his YT)
