powell was never a yes man. he was part of a still corrupt and inept and evil administration. his participation in it had anything but a negative impact for the american people or the world. if he were in power he would feel accountable and responsible, the opposite of how Bush runs the White House

Powell has no (KNown) ties to profiteers and in fact tried to dissued dumb ass (GW Bush) from going in with just 30,000 troops as the pogue originally wanted. Powell is a VIetnam Vet he is nit gung Hoe like Bush and CHeney and all those other conservative cowards who were never in war but love sending us...

Was he undermining the war goals of the bush administration when the held up he supposed vial of anthrax at the UN?
Or did he undermine them when he pushed the false connection between Mohammed Atta and Iraq? (his statements predated cheney's)
the answer to both is NO. He did as he was told - and didn't step down when he realized he was in a world of shit. It's all a goddamned soap opera anyway. Fun to watch though.
