Yeh true, but I don't know because I am so much in love with Next to normal score as well..and I think it deserves it more, a lot more effort into Next to Normal as it is original story and idea. Don;t get me wrong, but I love Shrek as well in my top 5 muscials but yeh, but I guess it won't.
Next to Normal is so good! It's going to be hard to predict any winners this year because each musical is unique and good in its own way. I'm just biased for Shrek because I've followed it since before Seattle. :)
@PuppetDumbledore The Tony Award for Best Original Score in 2009 was awarded to Next To Normal - which was infinitely more deserving than the score of this show.
wow I can't wait to see Shrek! I want to take my cousin who is obsessed with Fiona and of course Shrek! I totally can't wait because I'm also a Sutton Foster fan too! GO SHREK!

They need to win the Tony for score. The more I listen to the music, the more I love it. Those two are so talented and they deserve the recognition.
