@zt122: It's a Takamine, most likely an NP15, which is a discontinued model. They were built with solid cedar tops, which explains both the beautiful tone and the wear and tear (cedar is a relatively soft wood).

he started playing since he was before 13... so im guessing its natural wear.

just a point for the people making this video, they didnt become the swell season after the movie, they made and released an album under the name before the movie took off. falling slowly is on it, its a slightly different version though, as is the original full Frames version of it. simply out of this world. :)

The Swell Season is the name of the band composed of Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova and nowadays backed by members of The Frames, Hansard's original band. It's not a TV show but it has a strong connection with a movie called ONCE. Glen and Marketa wrote the music for and starred in that movie. They also won an Oscar for one of the songs in the movie.

Both entities are amazing in their own right and I have been extremely disappointed with Canada's realization of this talent.
