Thank for teach us to make ponchos starting by measuring the head, it makes sence. when you mentioned treble I knew what you ment, I learned that in a book whre it was showing the hooks numbers letters and mm that are us in different countries. I am excited, to have seen your video. I will make five ponchos for my daughters, grandaghters and one for me, that just to start. for the people that sis not know what treble was, now they do. Thank so very much for your tutorial...
@montrealstars60 is that american instructions ? im not sure on the amout of chains for the american yarns ... but i would say that if the large size amount of chains is probaly about 2 times the measurement of your head then it will be ok ... just make a neck tie so that if its a little to big aroud the neck you can tighten it :O)
@montrealstars60 that is a really good question !! and i am not sure on the answer.... i would think that you will have to make the initial chain longer and having a tie around the neck when you have finished so that you can gather it in ... having a longer chain should make the poncho in a larger size ... i have asked on mikeyssmail face book fan page to see if anyone else has different ideas
@montrealstars60 hi there i put up a post and no one replyed .... maybe that had no clue either ? But i would try the original idea ad she how you go .. just keep trying on the poncho as you go
Please let me know how you go or if i can try to help you
I have used DC (US terms) but i am sure that you could use another stitch if you liked .... i think the only difference in using a SC (US terms) is that it will take longer to make ...let me know how you go :)

What if I'm a big-sized woman, do I still just have to keep in mind only the chains that fit my head or do I have to add a few chains?
