"Opening - Sign of the Blood" (blood, implying 'bloodline' or 'blood pulse'), but I think the official English translation is just "Introduction" or "Opening".

It's a shame really; 64 had one of the best introduction themes and one of the best ending themes (not the Credits) in the entire series, but everything else (especially the battle themes) were either lacklustre or too short. Legacy of Darkness didn't really help it much either.

this theme name is 'Divine Bloodlines' in violin (a.k.a. richter theme). if you have already played SOTN(by far the best castlevania). you know that gba and nds tittles aren't stupid not even bad.

@XcXtrippyXcX 16bit castlevania are classics games they has all the credit you want to give them. but you forgot that rondo of blood IS a 16bit castlevania and SOTN complement the history of rondo of blood. im not saying that n64 CV are bad or inferior. you should take a REALLY good look to the games of gba and nds to say if they are good or bad games. if you like more the n64 games is O.K. now, if you want to talk about BAD castlevania games take a look to judgment and lord of shadows.

well, now these games have been put back into the timeline. but Castlevania Judgement is a fighting game, for fun, not a proper story in the timeline, so it is allowed to have characters from all games.

"Judgment" was meant to be a canonical entry in the series, it's all explained with the time rift. So the two N64 games are really reinstated now. Nobody knows why IGA removed them from the timeline in the first place, but it is ironic how he omitted the four games he didn't work on after "Symphony of the Night"... "Circle of the Moon" and "Legends" are up in the air (at least from a Japanese POV: the American "Portrait of Ruin" timeline includes CotM and dropped Legends completely).

@PrimeBlue Well it's a good thing they bring CoTM and the N64 games back in the timeline, they were good as hell, but I don't understand why people call this game 'broken' Yes some parts in the game feels 'broken,' but overall it's a good 3D Castlevania game that should be respected, along with Legacy of Darkness.
