Roloson might be 41, but you don't mess with him in his crease or he will let you know about it. Avery overreacted as usual as most goalies if not all will give you a wack if you go poking and slashing at them. Laying your hands on a goalie is a big no no. No wonder Avery always has a bounty on his head. I'm surprised no one has skated up to him and popped him as hard as they could. I guess players want to face him head on, but the weasel Avery always cowers.

i think everyone is forgetting here if your gonna poke at the goalie you expect to be chopped or get a blocker in the face you got a problem with it take it up with the defense not the goalie because if i see a player poking at my goalie he shouldnt even have time to get slashed or hit he should have his ass already sitting on the ice on the defenseman's behalf thats their job

@garrettcollins9 and maybe you're forgetting that playing for a loose puck is part of the game..its not like the goalie is never poked at..it happens in every game and you're right, it is the defensemen's job to step in...however, it is not the goalie's job nor is it his right to retaliate with a slash...if you somehow think that ANY player who slashes at someone after the whistle doesn't deserve to get decked then i'd be sad to see what your version of hockey would look like
