JFK is so far and above obama is sad that any1 even would compare them. obama is not the same guy from the 08 election. he doesnt speak of world peace love and hope anymore. he doesnt talk of change, real change that will end the strangle hold the elite banks+ corporations have on american families. he doesnt stand up to right and is tentative with all his actions. kennedy was an amazing man and an incredible president. he was killed by the radical right by ppl in our US gov.

Keynesian Capitalism is called a form of Capitalism for a good reason.

it's Capitalist "mixed economics" using some "Socialism" to benefit Capitalism, prevent infiltration of Communism, prevent bankruptcy of Capitalism + prevent Communist revolutions by using social programs to satisfy citizens so they never resort to Communism or revolution. this preserves + enhances Capitalism.

Yes, thats the theory anyway. However flawed it may be. You cannot knock down the productive in order to prop up the unproductive and expect to flourish. "mixed economics" indeed, you're more likely to succeed at mixing oil and water let alone communism and capitalism. The theories are diametrically opposed. Someday when you get out of college and are able to actually put some of these "theories" into practice you may see the light...or not.

it's not putting Communism and Capitalism together. Communism and Socialism are very different. there are several kinds of "Socialism".

none of the "Socialism" in Keyesnian Capitalism is totalitarian, dictatorial nor collectivist.

Keyesnian Capitalism has been the dominant economics since 1940's. it already was proven superior to Laissez-Faire, deregulation, Reaganomics "Trickle-down" and Far Right Libertarian Anarcho-Capitalism. it's been satisfactorily and beneficially used for decades.

you're right on Karl Marx using Socialism as transitory between Capitalism + Communism, if Communism is the final step in the plan. his idea of Socialism was only a step but an extreme form of Socialism as that step, whereas Keynesian Capitalists practice milder Socialism + as final step unto itself. Communism has never been the plan of Keynesian Capitalism with government social programs + regulations of business.

The truth is, there is nothing ugly or malicious about an Obama presidency...unless your own fears and self doubt project that way. I feel sorry for people who would do anything to slander Obama, even at the cost of their souls...and all becuase they cannot fathom the idea of something different. It's just sad.
