Hi Stealth! you probably get asked this all the time but what scale would you use, roughly for a guy 5'8" 165 lbs? for Iron Man pep files...thanks! awesome work man!

I'm planning to make a Halo Reach Scout helmet with pep. At what stage should I try to put the visor? And what would be the best way to attach it to the helmet?
@SolidSoundwave you should size up the visor early on to match up the opening. I suggest installing it after you paint it. unless you want to do it before painting , but you'd have to go through the trouble of masking it up with tape. I use hotglue to install a visor. I made a Mark VI Spartan helmet before and didn't have a problem with that.
@SolidSoundwave i know this comment is old and u probably found out your answer but i am doing that same helmet and i would say to put the visor in after you have resined, used fiberglass cloth, and have used bondo. Do it b4 u piant
me and my friend wanna make the whole suit out of foam, i was just wondering, wouldnt it be hard to fold the flaps if we were to use foam?? i mean its going to be quit thick so how would we do that? and if you have a video about it could you send me a link please?
I've followed your vids for months and always see you comment on stuff in therpf.com your work is incredible. Think you'll be making a video on how to make mold soon?
@doinurmomsz thanks man, I try to help out as much as I can from what I know. I will be making molding videos soon if there is enough interest. Just need to finish the foam tutorial. I have to do it over as I'm not happy with it.
Hey hey, I (believe) I commented on your Fanexpo vid mentioning I had a question about Pep. Before I buy the Pep mod program and work on some props, it appears you have actually assembled the piece out of the printed cardstock stencils (to test fit I assume), then strengthened THAT piece. I am new to fiberglass/resin stuff, but my question is: how/when does the foam come into play if you assembled the armor piece from the stencils (I assumed they'd be traced onto the foam, to be assembled)?
@TheHeroTutorials I checked through the videos on this channel, and I did not see any that focused on the exclusive construction using the foam, only the card stock/cardboard via Blackdynamo. I may have missed them? I'm making a latex venom costume/mask. I'll post those vids of my process up here once it is finished so people can see my process with that material.
I've found just regular white Elmer's glue works great for putting the pieces together. It's much cheaper and less messy (no glue "strings") than hot glue.
@VariablePenguin I've found that out too, although I use Scotch tape to reinforce it on the inside and out. I just wonder how it will stand against the resin.
