This is one of my favorite scenes as well. It proves Asch isn't just a hardass all the time, he actually does care about people. Shame he puts on such an act in front of everyone else though, it's what makes him *seem* like he's just a jerk.
Yeah, most people don't catch this fact about him, but I think he's hesitant to trust, so he actively pushes people away by being a jerk to most of them. Its a very simple defense mechanism that those who were betrayed heavily tend to use.
Yep. I guess he's the kind of character that girls want and guys want to be. As soon as NAMCO release this in Europe (if they want to see their hamsters again, they will do it) I'm using the glitch to keep him in the party ASAP.
