  • NO SPLASHING IN THE WATER CRAP..

  • lol

  • nice

  • Well done, looks really good.

  • 14 dislikes? wtf this was awsome. those 14 people probably dont even fucking know what vfx is or how its made

  • @123battlefield123

i guess you don't know how its made. if you have a little eye for vfx you see alot of technical problems with this clip. the building being shattered is looking good but the other effects definately need more work.

  • @MarkReijrink I know how it is fucking made. Its not the best but wtf it is a good try, and many people cant do them self.

  • @123battlefield123 It is indeed a good try, but according to your first post it was awesome, so you lied. Anyway I am working on a project when it is finished I will show you what some real vfx are.

  • @MarkReijrink The Awsome part was rayfire in 3ds max. that was what I was here for. the use of it composed with video recording didnt turn out the best

  • was the building being destroyed a 3D composite? or was it just effects?

  • Where is the water splash

  • shatter effect ftw!

  • You've gotta make a tutorial!!!

  • @CreativMediaStudio yes i know i wish i had time to finish it.

  • hubieras creado una mascara en el agua a si los fragmentos de piedra vayan desapareciendo como si cayeran realmente pero es el effecto es bueno man

  • @zukelaidaflash thanks

  • OMG! did they died?

  • @two45triox no one was there at that time so everyone still alive and kicking

  • Good effects but a meteor of that size would have burnt up in the earths atmosphere and if it didnt manage to hit earth the 'guy' with the camera would have been incinerated instantly.

  • @radiantracoon yes true thats why its called visual effects :)

  • @radiantracoon dude its a vid...no harm done here just like all movies lol

  • That's awesom yo :)

Can u tell me how u did the.. Shattering.. Thing.. whatever to call it :p?

  • @DaGuldfisk i did the shuttering thing in rayfire into 3ds max, then added meteor and smoke in after effects

  • Hey that was pretty good.

  • @HeyItsSteve93 Thanks :)

  • dude! thats in st paul's bay!!!! I lived there to ! we have the same hobby haha.. i think it's quite good.. what i would suggest is key in sound water splashes (you will find many of these on the internet) and work maybe on adding more detail during the actual explosion.. this may sound like too much work but. rather than making the 'pile' of exploding rubble.. actually start from the basic shape of the tower and blow it up from there...

  • not bad. the debris is good, but it wouldn't all go "up" from the meteor's angle.

    1. Work on the meteor itself (because it looks... well, bad)

    2. Adjust the debris

    3. Make the water react (I read the description; I don't use 3ds Max, but I'm guessing you can use fluids and, if so, set one up in the position of the ocean and have the debris collide with it)

    4. I'm guessing you watched Video Copilot's series on this?

    All in all, not bad.

    4/5

  • Wow i like it dude really like it

  • not bad, take more time working on the motion tracking though, and the details of the meteor.

  • thats an exorstist!

  • wat program did u use?

  • duude thats actually preety good nice work

  • Less chunks, more dust clouds and more directional dust clouds.

  • RealFlow would work very well for the splashes.

And it works seamlessly with max.

A bit pricey....but well worth it!

IMO Rayfire and RealFlow are the 2 best plugins for max....and Afterburn of course.

  • have you make it with adobe after effects

  • not everything... parts of it I used 3ds max

  • lol thanks duda :P xxxx

  • Prosit babe! :D

    xxxx
