Also "eco-friendly" wind farms happen to kill a huge ammount of bird. So does hydro-electric power. Just saying.
P.s.
Say how many animals have you killed, sorry "euthanized" this year? Because so far that 98% of all animals given to your care doesn't look very good. Also why no criteria for "unadoptable"?
I studied vegitarianism for cookery classes, s our teacher was veggie. We had about 7 different speakers come out from Peta, McCartneys groups and others. The teacher was in dismay. She said non of these are exactly good spokemen because they all look ill and malnurishsed!
But thankfully I personally know enough veggies who are sane who dont forcfeed values. One women I know is a passionate veggie, but she still cooks meat for her kids, she wont force her values on them
JustB3NJI..PETA has the right to be forceful. Racism was justified back in the day, and the persecution of gays still is. if we are not going to be forceful; then who is? do we sit back and watch? Eating meat is the number one cause of global warming amongst various other environmental problems, directly leads to world poverty, increases the chance of heart failure, obesity and other health problems, and is a hate filled industry that kills billions of animals just to please our taste buds.
@rahul727 Do you think you can stop people eating meat? and when it comes to the crunch do you really think people care? This is a luxury of a morality that people can only stand for because of the society they live in. Heck when it comes to the crunch you'd eat your dog.
Besides I eat plenty of veg and surely you know what it's like after a hearty helping of cabbage, brussel sprouts and beans - Thats a serious Methane footprint. Less gas when you eat meat
If we stop eating animal products where does Peta think this will leave farm animals? i doubt they will be put back into the wild and at any rate their populations will plummet. That doesn't bother me but I imagine that Peta wouldn't be happy if farm animal ended up in a critically endangered list. It's no great loss if they did become extinct,bu the only reason why they are not already is becase we eat them. Double edged sword?
So what about the animals that are produced for the purpose of being eaten? If everyone becomes a vegatarian, then wont they be just a waste of space and money from the production plants point of view and be slaughtered anyway?
Thing is, I agree this, but it's easy for me as I have been vegetarian my whole life. It must be very difficult for someone who's been eating meat their whole life to just stop.
great video and a lot of the problems and future problems can be solved so simply by being vegan and it is no sacrifice but a benefit for you and all. I wish the govt would do its good and promote vegan diets. Govt is in bed with corporate evil.
Veganism is the lifestyle that leaves the shallowest ecological footprint, uses fewer resources and produces less greenhouse gas emissions. A plant-based diet is healthier for the environment and humans.
You want to stop global worming?

I'll us your favorite source....USDA touts meat as part of a healthy, balanced diet. Horse and goat meat better than beef.
American Heart Association....lean meats, poultry and fish part of a healthy diet.
