is it possible to build a home made plane to herd sheep? I have a big farm. My back hurts so horse riding is not optimal for my health.

I was just at the rhinebeck aerodrome. It was amazinggggg! they had a fokker Dr1 (my all time favorite plane) i flipped out. If anyone enjoys old aircraft, thts the place to go.

No I think with some of those really old planes there was no throttle, just on or off, so they had to flick the engine on and off to slow down.

what?!?!?
rpm9 is correct - the early aeroplanes only had ignition on or off - they blipped the ingnition to slow down as this pilot did on landing.

At the first seconds of the video the engine is idling and seems to have throttle..

I think that was done for the old radials. I think this one had a throttle as you can see from the beginning of the video.
