It doesn't wirelessly connect to your TV. You need to buy a seperate HDMI or Component cable as Apple was too cheap to include a 5 dollar cable.

AppleTV could run almost everything and hackers are trying to do exactly this: Super Mario Bros it's just one of the first steps, with almost the same procedure you may could run in a near future Mario 64, Sonic for the SEGA Genesis, PlayStation games, Macintosh games and more.

I would like to get an AppleTV sometime, but I don't have the required Widescreen HDTV (WTF... a strange requirement considering the average resolution of the video files in iTunes)
