There's actually a pattern you have to follow in the speed-up. Going by the numberpad, you have to hit the following steps in order repeeatedly:

9-7-5-1-9-5-3-1

Which in actuality would be:

(High Right)-(High Left)-(Center)-(Low Left)-(High Right)-(Center)-(Low Right)-(Low Left).

If you know what you're doing, you can easily nail this, given the fact that you have the ability to easily do 16ths at about 187.56 BPM.
