I dont think piccolo as ever ssj2 level strength. At best he was as strong as Mssj Goku at the cell games. Dabura however is a little weaker then spc and ssj2 kid gohan so piccolo has no shot at beating him
@LoboFan1000 Dabura is actually around Mssj Goku from the Cell Games. Gohan was a normal Super Saiyan and was strong enough to not get damaged by Dabura, who was getting pissed and even tried to kill him.

By the android saga, piccolo was stronger than a super saiyan. He then trained in the time chamber which i would guess pushes him somewhere in the middle of SSJ1 & 2. After those 7 years of peace one would think that he continues training. I mean he is Piccolo. And one would think that his power is at least equivalent to a SSJ2 after 7 years. So i would think that a full power Piccolo is at least even or superior to Dabura

I'll know you'll say that's because Gohan doesn't like fighting, but that's too bad because he also has a desire to protect those he cares about. So he should have realized that he had the greatest potential of any other fighter and continued to train and increase his power to defend against any future threat that arise from Cell's ashes.

The knobs who keep saying that Piccolo isn't as strong as base saiyens are retarded. Think about it. Base Saiyen = Goku when he fought Frieza.Later, Future Trunks PWND Frieza. @054martinm Well Daburas power level readings are not what I would call accurate, since the Z fighters don't walk around powered up, so you can never tell who is the strongest until they start fighting. I really wouldn't say he was raped by them, if you watch the episode Piccolo isn't much more injured than Vegeta or Trunks who are both Ultra Super Saiyans. When Goku fought Cell he was an Ascended Super Saiyan I believe, Piccolo never got that strong unfortunately.Oh well tis just an old cartoon

Basically this. Vegeta was confident that he would win the tournament without SSj, including 18 and Piccolo. Is the first Piccolo line SonGoshuaku or is it Chris Sabat...? Either way, it sounded good, the rest was great too. Dabura could use a little work... I've found that using a voice pitcher a bit gets the proper tone. The one Babidi line was lulzy, and sounded great as well. Editing was on par, as good as you can make it to this degree. Well done guys!

No actually Piccolo has never been the strongest ever IIRC. Android 16 was stronger than Piccolo after the Kami fusion still. Yes I agree though, one of the best characters .
Yea, Piccolo was never the strongest in the universe ever. He's one of my favorite characters though, probably my most favorite. He has good the perfect balance of badass goodguy IMO and he's not a whiny cunt like Vegeta.
@054martinm I agree that Piccolo definitely should have had more screen time in the series, but it's not Toriyama's fault. It's because of the fanbase.
In the Babidi saga, (or so I've heard) Toriyama planned to make Piccolo turn "Majin" instead of Vegeta. However, the fans loved Vegeta way more, and they wanted to see another Goku vs Vegeta fight. So, all Toriyama did was give the fans what they wanted. It's a real shame though. :(

@koolkat518 wrong. being a ssj for a few years doesnt mean its mastered as goku only mastered it in the time chamber. saying that piccolo is stronger than super saiyans means your assuming they never changed in power after transforming. which is wrong. piccolo ended that saga as one of the weakest z fighters. piccolo showed nothing on the level of a ssj2.

The knobs who keep saying that Piccolo isn't as strong as base saiyens are retarded. Think about it. Base Saiyen = Goku when he fought Frieza.Later, Future Trunks PWND Frieza. Then Trunks got PWND by the Androids. Piccolo was tied with the androids. He then trained for a year and was doing almost as well as Trunks and Vegeta against cell Juniors. To say that he is weaker than a base SSJ is just plain fucking stupid.

@054martinm Well Daburas power level readings are not what I would call accurate, since the Z fighters don't walk around powered up, so you can never tell who is the strongest until they start fighting. I really wouldn't say he was raped by them, if you watch the episode Piccolo isn't much more injured than Vegeta or Trunks who are both Ultra Super Saiyans. When Goku fought Cell he was an Ascended Super Saiyan I believe, Piccolo never got that strong unfortunately.Oh well tis just an old cartoon

@Vegito1089 Piccolo is weaker than the Super Saiyans in Buu saga because Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta were all Super Saiyan 2 at that point. Piccolo may not have continued to train and increase his power after the defeat of Cell. But there is no way he was actually weaker than when he fought Anrdroid 17. Therefore he is at least equal to SSJ1

@Vegito1089 true but you forget one thing ssj or ssj2 aren´t constant powerlevels the Sayans got stronger (except gohan) so their ssj states are completely different numbers to. i believe Goku of Buu saga could have taken down an enemy of friezers level in an instant without even going serious. same for Vegeta. Piccolo was in Android saga clear on a SSJs level because the SSJ weren´t this strong. in Buu Saga he´d probably also be around SSJ 1 level.

Basically this. Vegeta was confident that he would win the tournament without SSj, including 18 and Piccolo. Dabura said that out of the Z-Fighters, Krillin and Piccolo were the weakest (Compared to Base Saiyans), Piccolo was completely amazed by SSj Goten and TSSj Trunks max power while Goku isnt that impressed.

Is the first Piccolo line SonGoshuaku or is it Chris Sabat...? Either way, it sounded good, the rest was great too. Dabura could use a little work... I've found that using a voice pitcher a bit gets the proper tone. The one Babidi line was lulzy, and sounded great as well. Editing was on par, as good as you can make it to this degree. Well done guys!

Yeah, my Dabura voice is new, I'm just trying to come up with my own Dabura voice that can fit the character. Yeah I think they did use a voice effect for Dabura's voice in FUNi's dub. Hahahha Babidi was my fist DBZ voice thanks!!! ^^ Also yes Vegiot1089 dose very good editing!!! ^_^

@054martinm vegeta is not constantly kicking ass. all vegeta did was kill zarbon and dodoria. don't even mention the ginyu force except for jeice because vegeta killed guildo when he was off guard and burter and recoome were already down. piccolo had more fights than frieza and android 17. raditz,nappa,babidi,and cell jrs. Vegeta always gets his ass kicked except for the namek saga so don't say he "kicks ass".

@054martinm hmm yea your right but i disagree with you on one thing vegeta did not almost kill fat buu. sure it tore buu into tiny little bits but buu recovered to fast for it to have almost killed buu but yeah vegeta did do alot more than what i mentioned. Akira cared more about what fans wanted instead of what he wanted for ex. he wanted gohan to be the hero of the buu saga but everyone else wanted goku to be the hero

Yea, Piccolo was never the strongest in the universe ever. He's one of my favorite characters though, probably my most favorite. He has good the perfect balance of badass goodguy IMO and he's not a whiny cunt like Vegeta.

@054martinm I agree that Piccolo definitely should have had more screen time in the series, but it's not Toriyama's fault. It's because of the fanbase.
In the Babidi saga, (or so I've heard) Toriyama planned to make Piccolo turn "Majin" instead of Vegeta. However, the fans loved Vegeta way more, and they wanted to see another Goku vs Vegeta fight. So, all Toriyama did was give the fans what they wanted. It's a real shame though. :(

@054martinm Vegeta tried his absolute best and could barely damage Recoome, then Goku comes in and effortlessly defeats him with one elbow to the stomach. Vegeta starts crying after realizing his power is nothing against final form Frieza. He got his ass kicked by 18 and any form of Buu. Vegeta is my favorite DBZ character but he often is gets treated like a bitch just as a demonstration to show how much more powerful Goku is
