This is one of the few (only?) examples I've seen of how to play the piano version used during a live vocal performance of the song (ie the piano is not attempting to mimic the lyrics and is playing as accompany to an actual singer). Thanks for posting it!

I don't get the point of this. All you do is download the MIDI files and put it onto Synthesia and record it. I'd like this if you were actually playing this on the piano or you at least used a screen capture software. You should put at least SOME effort into your videos.

Not "impossible" to play, in fact very easy.

He's just running up and down the same CFG chord arpeggios - then when it goes to Ab he plays a little twinkle around Ab arpeggio. Piece of cake for any piano player.

I love this software - learned the entire song in about ten minutes because I could still see the darkened areas.

Hey, I'm in the middle of learning this song on piano right now (it's my first song to learn really) and I'm having trouble with the sixteenth notes at the ends of the riffs in the prechorus without messing up the eighth notes. Can anyone who plays give me any suggestions for fixing that?

play it half speed (or maybe even at a quarter speed) until you can do it with no mistakes. then eventually you will be able to play it faster and faster
