how do you clean and maintain the ice?

@WonderCards3 We have to vacuum the shavings once a week depending on how much they are on it. We also spray it down twice a month with a lubricant from Global Synthetic Ice.

@LightLink00 Not stupid. Skates shave off a real small layer just like ice. They will not leave deep ruts like ice. Once or twice a week you need to vacuum "Zamboni" the shavings.

Thanks griffkon, one more thing - how do you like the ice compared to real ice and where did you get the big plexiglass doors?

@srmaczka real ice is smoother but is much more forgiving of a bad stride. YOu have to pay attention to technique on this surface. Becker Ice Products, MN. They shipped all the poly on the walls and ceiling and the glass doors and wall.

@damc34 $5,000 and it looks good. A little dirty from the pucks and tape on sticks but nothing serious.

@californiahockey99 It was not cheap.  The panels are from Becker Arena Products in MN and the synthetic ice is from Global Synthetic Ice.
