I know it may be hard to give decent advice over text, but I'm learning the flute in my music class at school, and was wondering if you had any tips on getting the low C to come out easier. I'm an 8th year clarinet player just fyi as well, so i know there are probably a lot of mouth exercises I should do to get that double embrasure.
When I first heard you on your Sankyo 14K flute, I thought that I didn't like it and that you should've stayed with your Burkart. Now that I hear you on it after you've had it for a while and have gotten to know the Sankyo 14K, you sound fantastic. It truly sounds like an extension of you.
wow Nina.. i really like your vibrato.. you know because of your free tutorial videos, I'm able to improve my vibrato.. Thanks to you!. I'm now working on my fingerings because i want to improve my fingering skills... :D
Hi Nina. I'm starting to play the flute and your videos are being very instructive to me. I decided to subscribe to your channel and today I had this great surprise - you playing a song from my country. I hope some day I can play with a warm sound like yours. Thanks for sharing!!
Nina, you're awesome. I'm a Flute Major at Sul Ross State University, and I want you to know that you are one of only three Flutists I look up to. I hope one day to study for a semester with you. That would be amazing.
hey nina, you are awesome :)
but my favorite is still the fantasia n3 in B minor from telemann ahah
i like the bass solo version of this by ray brown.
about what mark072 said, you are the only one flutist i listen to regularly o.o
and.. it is written Manhã de Carnaval

Very nice. My humble version is more "dynamic" but could be toned down.

@mark072 That's really kind of you. Personally, I look up to 100+ flutists, so I'm pretty honored to have made your top three list. Peace. -Nina
