  • Schoenberg auténtico!!! Excelente música llena de sentido y expresividad modernas. Aunque aquí tiene mucho de Stravinsky si bien se dirá que son dois escuelas diferentes. Magnífico verdaderamente!!!!

  • Yeah, thanks! not perhaps my fave composer but when he's good, he is very, very good...

  • Increiblemente magnífico, expresivo, teatral, directo, convulsivo. Su música me llena de sensaciones e imagenes, me revoluciona los sentidos, me altera los sentidos .

  • My favourite 8 minutes of Schoenberg here

  • Beautiful, a bit too beautiful perhaps. This should be barbaric and dramatic, this is a little too slow and a little too dry. Check out the Herbert Kegel recording of this piece I uploaded, it's much better than this.

  • The Dance around the Golden Calf is full of canonic imitation. So, Schoenberg doesn't really let his proverbial (as this is the only kind of hair he actually had) down. Rather it is all about the wonders of contrapuntal rhythm. I have always thought that this section of the opera out Rite of Springs the Rite of Spring. It is, very definitely, some of the wildest and most colorful music the man ever wrote.

  • Schoenberg letting his hair down! Who'd believe a man like him would be good at writing orgiastic scenes!

  • I saw Moses und Aron two years ago in the Vienna State Opera. In many scenes, there are way too much notes, but nevertheless, it was a fantastic opera experience.

  • Thank you for this.
