and when u keep on attacking him.. ur winning if he doesn't use his powerful skill as shown at 4:15 . dont worry about ur magic if u can't cast em. u got donald for healing you :D

u must keep on attack him (Xigbar) just keep on attacking him. DONT BE SCARED OF HIS ATTACKS... just keep on attacking him and when u do it. he cant use his ability as shown here. 2:15 .

I used to find him hard untill I noticed that after I Guarded his shots back at him they stunned him long enough so that if you are close by him you can easily combo him that way as well, in any of his forms.
@sk8freak425 I used to have a hard time on them too when I played KH1 back in the day. I recently replayed it and 1-shotted all of the bosses with ease. Just block all of riku's attacks and strike afterwards.
If you think riku is hard, try dealing with this fucker. I've lost to him 15 times and I'm fucking raging.
It really sucked because I almost beat Xigbar on my first try... then the game froze. I think it was glitching the whole boss battle because he was ridiculously easy and I'm level 44. Now he's kicking my butt!! >.< At least the game isn't freezing anymore... for now... DX

@BieberBabe13x I spam Reflega, of course there's a huge chance that you're still gonna get a lot of damage against you, but you should be able to prevent too much damage from occuring by healing yourself, using two Ether's OR 1 Mega-Ether to restore MP, keeping Donald Cure ability for free use, then using shortcut to Reflect as much as possible.

would you think i'm weird if i told you that i beated xaldin in about one hour of trial and error, without any sort of help, and i've been stuck with xigbar for about 5 months now, and still hadn't beat him. No, i hadn't been playing those 5 months, i gave up after 2 days of trying and failing, and had been trying ocassionally to beat him each 2 months without success, i, just can't beat him, maybe tomorrow i'll try, i hope i can after seeing this tutorial, otherwise, i'll get depressed.

if your low level around 40ish your combos will make your finisher combo suck with the pumkin so use a guardian. dont master and after every pause when the feild changes take a health potion! if your any higher or your combo's r massibeh just follow that guide. but your gonna need to be higher level to get better combo's soo. . .
if your low level like me, then you might have a bit of trouble. especaly if you dont use magic. if your low level i out suggest using a guardian soul other then that other one because if you can use that knocksmash reaction with goofy it can get it down more, and your combo will make your finisher weaker if you use the pumkin thing if your low level. soo use the guardian soul and DONT MASTER FORM! and i wouldent suggest the other forms but if you must you can. DONT MASTER NO mater what! :D
in my second profile for kh2 i just got to xigbar but i already had final form so the game will be a piece of cake for me and demyx and xaldin were really easy sephiroth is the real bitchy boss or if you have final mix terra is the hardest

comparison: It took me 2 for Xaldin, 3 for Demyx (2nd time), and 14 - yes, you heard right, FOURTEEN - for Xemnas (in total).
it also took me 4 tries to beat Luxor because of the **** time meter AND the dumb game.
Also, I had level 60 when fighting Xigbar. Th eblue laser do the same dammage on all levels. the only difference is about 3 HP points more on the HP bar.
btw, SUBBED. I own KH2, KH Chain of Memories, KH 1, and KH 358/2 days

Xaldin....oh iHATED Xaldin! Hes much harder than Xigbar in my opinion. Even though Xigbar is still a very hard boss, but nothing against Xalgin. And Demyx...well....hes....surprisingly challenging after the nonsense and crap he was talking I thought him to be super easy^^. But aparrently he wasn't xD
wow.... xigbar was sooooo easy! i beat him my first try..... but when at the small square i got hit with almost all attacks i didnt die though. i think i attacked him when in wasnt supposed to. oh well. i also use that reaction command when u send the blue lazer back at him every single time he shot one out. he was fun! :D

The reason some of us (Like myself) find this battle so difficult is, it takes skill, quick thinking, reflexes, luck (Because Donald and Goofy can block you on the square) and perfect hand-eye coordination. Not to mention intense training and experience if you do not attain all these qualities.

if hes reeling in the air with his guns below him... hes vunerable.... if hes walking... you can combo him... when he reloads aswell... i think he has a second where you can combo him near the end of the fight when he fires the two lazers...think he can be combo'd at the end of that but beware the blue lazers
im on him now (yes i never actually beat the game before i got it a year after it came out and made it up to the battle with demyx but got bored with it. :P) but anyways i wouldnt necesarilly say hes a "hard" boss, i mean i fail everytime i try but thts just cuz it takes me a few tries in a gam elike kh to get used to atk paterns, but again i wouldnt say hes a "hard" boss hes just a lil tricky. like to me a hard boss would be 1 tht has maybe one very hard solution to each atk he throws at you.
OMG Dude same here, but my NPC's are determined to have me dead at all costs... I think the reason I've died 40+ times against him so far is because I'm only level 36 and I've made the mistake of playing it on the hardest difficulty setting on my first play through, with no experience whatsoever with PS2 controls OR Kingdom Hearts. :P
God, when you attack him his health it disapears. When I hit him it does a good amount of damage. But/ why do you do so much damage? Im level 40 by the way.
Would it be a good idea to use the Guardian Soul Keyblade as the main weapon? It has great attack (5) and it has the reaction boost ability, thus that would deal more damage with warp sniping the blue laser attack? Just a thought.
Just beat him on lvl 37, thank for the counter clock wise run.....AMAZING... i still think Xaldin on the bridge was harder, but i was only lvl 30 when i took him down :)

I found him to be the hardest. I breezed on through Demyx AND Xaldin first try but i finally gave up on Xigbar and needed help.

I get stuck in his fight because 2 tihngs:
1º-i didn´t known how to avoind the rain of shoots in the small square
2º-i dind had a ps2 so i use an emulator on my computer and i get a bug wich it dosen´t show me the hp bar of sora :p

Xigbar is so hard!! D: I don't know how I beat him the first time I played KH2 (I've must've been lucky or something) and now, when I'm playing this game again on hard mode, I just can't defeat him. I've been so close so many times, but nooo, he does one of his crazy whatever things and it's game over. I wish Mickey would come to the rescue like that time with Xaldin.

I beat him in one try.
comparison: It took me 2 for Xaldin, 3 for Demyx (2nd time), and 14 - yes, you heard right, FOURTEEN - for Xemnas (in total).
it also took me 4 tries to beat Luxor because of the **** time meter AND the dumb game.
Also, I had level 60 when fighting Xigbar. Th eblue laser do the same dammage on all levels. the only difference is about 3 HP points more on the HP bar.
btw, SUBBED. I own KH2, KH Chain of Memories, KH 1, and KH 358/2 days

Since I had so much HP I beat him first try. He is challenging, but Demyx and Xaldin were the devil's bitches. Xigbar has nothin on them.

Xaldin....oh iHATED Xaldin! Hes much harder than Xigbar in my opinion. Even though Xigbar is still a very hard boss, but nothing against Xalgin. And Demyx...well....hes....surprisingly challenging after the nonsense and crap he was talking I thought him to be super easy^^. But aparrently he wasn't xD

wow.... xigbar was sooooo easy! i beat him my first try..... but when at the small square i got hit with almost all attacks i didnt die though. i think i attacked him when in wasnt supposed to. oh well. i also use that reaction command when u send the blue lazer back at him every single time he shot one out. he was fun! :D

The reason some of us (Like myself) find this battle so difficult is, it takes skill, quick thinking, reflexes, luck (Because Donald and Goofy can block you on the square) and perfect hand-eye coordination. Not to mention intense training and experience if you do not attain all these qualities.

if hes reeling in the air with his guns below him... hes vunerable.... if hes walking... you can combo him... when he reloads aswell... i think he has a second where you can combo him near the end of the fight when he fires the two lazers...think he can be combo'd at the end of that but beware the blue lazers

im on him now (yes i never actually beat the game before i got it a year after it came out and made it up to the battle with demyx but got bored with it. :P) but anyways i wouldnt necesarilly say hes a "hard" boss, i mean i fail everytime i try but thts just cuz it takes me a few tries in a gam elike kh to get used to atk paterns, but again i wouldnt say hes a "hard" boss hes just a lil tricky. like to me a hard boss would be 1 tht has maybe one very hard solution to each atk he throws at you.

OMG Dude same here, but my NPC's are determined to have me dead at all costs... I think the reason I've died 40+ times against him so far is because I'm only level 36 and I've made the mistake of playing it on the hardest difficulty setting on my first play through, with no experience whatsoever with PS2 controls OR Kingdom Hearts. :P

God, when you attack him his health it disapears. When I hit him it does a good amount of damage. But/ why do you do so much damage? Im level 40 by the way.

Uh, Quick Question...
Would it be a good idea to use the Guardian Soul Keyblade as the main weapon? It has great attack (5) and it has the reaction boost ability, thus that would deal more damage with warp sniping the blue laser attack? Just a thought.
