this is cute. i taught my one dog to jump. but she only does it when i say the command. and im sure thats what ur doing. people are to cranky. i also teach my dogs to 'sick' kinda what u did when he went after his mom. people need to learn...they are just playing...its what dogs do. go watch national geographic for goodness sake and shut upp

The jumping thing isn't a good idea especially at an early age it can cause problems in later life. You want to encourage your dog to be calm not make him in to the Tasmanian devil.

OK all you PETA people.... that's how dogs play, and when the mom is yowling b/c the pup has her throat? beagles are VERY VERY VERY vocal. mine makes that noise all the time playing (usualy its cuz she's mad that she's losing). if any of you HAVE a beagle, you'd know this.

i can confirm this, VERY sore losers, my beagle was rediculously hard to catch in my backyard at his physical peak but when i did manage to get him on his back the little fart would theatrically scream like he was being eaten alive, it was hilarious and annoying at the same time

Kinda mean, but not cruel. It's not cruel because you can tell the dog has no intention of actually hurting/killing the other, but it isn't too great to encourage it. BTW; cute beagles.
PS: I taught my two dogs how to do jump, too!
