As of 2011 the PS3 came out with a software update which eliminates the need to have a netflix disc. So now netflix is part of the software so you can direct stream anything istantly.

the interface on the ps3 version is so much more crisp then the xbox 360. It looks a lot more professional. I feel like a little kid on the 360, but the 360 works a lot more better then the ps3 version. Oh and i am still waiting for the update so i don't need this disc to play every time. So for now i will stick with the 360 version.

@GeekisCarnage With my experience... Everytime I go on my buddys 360 I only hear kids talking shit to each other, literally everytime I play on his 360!!! My ps3 I have only had a problem with one person talking crap and thats because I "stold" about 5-6 kills from him in a row and he just fliped out, but he was sounded older. Its usually people talking strategy on PS3,,, 360 at my friends house I have yet to hear adults / young adults on there talking strategy back and forth, just kids argueing

I personally am going to guess you dont because you know what Im talking about when I say theres always kids talking shit on there, but if you do then maybe you should add my buddy. He could use some friends on there to join in games with so he (or myself when I play at his place) dont have to hear 10-15 year olds just talking crap and saying racial terms the whole time...

for some reason, every time i start up a movie or show the quality just goes from 1080p to 480p which is terrible quality and im using an HDMI. Even the HD shows go to 480p. i tried 2 hd tvs but they both do the same thing. do you do anything to get them in HD quality?

I don't understand why they limit their streaming movies so much. I mean if you're looking to watch any of the newer stuff, you basically still have to order the DVDs via mail delivery. I was hoping for a lot more current content when I signed up for this. They do have some newer films but the large majority is older stuff or stuff I wouldn't care to watch at all. I mean I know they make the money off charging for multiple DVDs but I'd pay higher monthly just to get all movies streamable.

for those of u saying netflix on Xbox360 is better than on Ps3 i cant argue with u because i only own a Ps3 and haven't used netflix on either system but say it is better on 360, we still have the PlayStation store where u can buy pretty much any movie or tv show u can think of, I've never owned a 360 ( had a ps3 sense 2006 and never had a single problem ) but i have played my friends 360 plenty of times && i think ps3 OWNS 360 :P

I was lucky and downloaded the game utterly free for my ps3 from: 115 games . com there are literally thousands best thing about it is they are all free I must say 1:12 to 3:42 was top notch

For others out there if your having problems entering the code refresh and get another code until it works. I had to go through 5 different codes before my ps3 initiated. Which is what led me to this tutorial in the first place.

FYI to all that own Plasma TV's. The PS3 will NOT go to screen saver with the new netflix disc in. If you fall asleep when watching a movie, the netflix image will burn your plasma. Another reason XBOX360 is better!!!!

FYI emilee422011979 for the ps3 the disk is free and the psn account is free. If you have xbox you have to have gold live you cant have any subsription under that. PS3 is kicking xbox's ass

Its the main menu of the PS3. XMB is Xross Media Bar. The 360 pretty much copied the PS3's menu but added some extra things to it and added the NXE to it.
