when i saw this i remember HL2 E2, and i conclude, this quake isn't really so good. In fact, it has nothing special. It's like UT gameplay and HL2 graphic dynamics... but worst.

Hi, I have this game for ages and from time to time I play around just for a buzz.

The graphics is just incredible and a joy to look at.

Only problem is, it seems complicate to me.

Where is the best point to start learning how it all works ?

I'm only used to simple FPS which are kind of self explanatory, like shot'n forget ... but this looks like loads of fun, if I just knew how to play it.

Sorry for being a bit ignorant but I don't like reading tons of manuals.

when you play for example singleplayer, you get a tutorial and some tips.

you will learn by playing it a lot, so at the beginning its always tough when your not that experianced.

wtf, I use 16x anti-aliaising - 16x antistopical filter - everything the highest quality, everything enabled and using 1680 x 1050 and got 60 frames, If got 4 Gb RAM, 8800GTX, and 2x 2.4 Ghz processor.

(these performence are the almoste the same as yours)

quake wars is coming for the xbox360, its right now on the PC. I think the game is fun enough for 3 monds gameplay. If you wanna have a really good game, just buy call of duty 4. It has a very very good multiplayer;)

I've cranked the graphics all the way up 1600X1200 with all settings set to high and UT2004 still looks tons better.. excluding trees/grass. Love UT2004 but keep getting sucked into this game mostly because everyone I know plays it which makes it tons of fun when ya fragging with your pals

The battles in this game are epic. Most people who doesn't like it just aren't patient enough to learn how to play. Besides, teamplay is such a crucial factor, when most of your teammates are playing on their own, it can frustrating.
