  • Actually, most people at LAGOLAND who build stuff build them with glue which would have helped the ball a lot.

  • The real thing had bigger peices inside making it stronger. Also it was smother. Not to mention the hill was steeper and it was made by a bunch of non lego masters.

  • KATAMARI!!!

  • spoko

  • you hit the side barries almost 8 in the video it didnt hit much

  • @coolok01 you hit the side barrier a lot in the vid itt didnot hit barriers

  • Real life Katamari Damacy

  • 1 word only. glue?

  • When I saw the shape of that sphere I instantly thought I was playing Minecraft.

  • should have used super glue =P

  • 0:25 Derp

  • did i just hear a chemical zone sound bit playing?

  • THEY

    DIDN'T SUPER GLUE IT

  • Mabey in the real video they glued it?

  • @joshuaox8 no in the real video it was fake

  • A MILLION PICES ESACTLY WHAT THE GUY SAID IN THE REAL VIDEO!

  • KATAMARI LOL

  • OMG ther was a LEGO man inside!!! Someone should have called an ambulance!!!

  • Im sure they knew that was gonna happen

  • GLUE IT YOU FOOLS THAT CAR IS TAUNTING YOU

  • Mybrickcity nooooooo! :)

  • Can I have those pieces?

  • thumps up if u were just on Mythbusters: 1,000,000 match bomb!

  • bad quality vid.. :( im sa.. :(((

  • 1 Piece was a megablock

  • when the guyz on youtube saw that this was gonna be on mythbusters, theyre probably like oh crap... we're busted

  • did you record this with a glue stick?

  • AHH 240p we meet again!

  • USE GLUE!!

  • which pixel was the lego ball?

  • ok now they should super glue each block and let it free in san francisco

  • Did anyone else think Minecraft?

  • 240p, we meet again.......what an ORIGINAL comment you dumb asses.

  • They should have glued It together and made it a bit smoother. Derpy derp.

  • DUMB FUCKS! they should have glued it together :S

  • @HELLPINAVENGER Well then it would be fake as the video.

  • @3rRr0r That's the same thing that i was thinking!!!!!!!!!!

  • that ball could have been much smoother

  • @ultraNewt this video could have been much smoother :P

  • @ultraNewt It had to be the same shape as the one from the original video

  • Tbh, if they made the ball more rounded. Would of been better. Theres your challenge mythbusters!

  • Glue all the lego together

  • We meet again 240p! O_o

  • Comment removed

  • they should have interlocked the legos better.

  • Do the mythbusters use lime?

  • damn minecraft you scarry

  • notch's brain.

  • some poor kid seeing this only has enough lego for a small shitty car, bastards

  • If you guys are looking for a place to discard of those peices… I am willing to take them!!!!

  • We meet again, 240p.

  • they should superglue the bricks together lol

  • superglue?

  • Nice

  • Fuck you 240p

  • They built it wrong, too many large edges. If they'd smoothed those a bit it would've made it to the car. Also, large lego constructs are usually glued together.

  • 0:14 to 0:26 av heard the song in a game or somthin

  • yeah, now go pickup all the pieces. :)

  • Should have gone the extra mile of putting glue on it

  • @axeyguitar888 Or at least making it round

  • tape over it

  • this is why i make lego strucktures with super glue

  • this makes you wonder...will it blend?

  • lala

    lalalalalala

    katam- ow.

  • 0:50 TRANSFORMERs

  • one word: superglue

  • And thats why you use super glue... Dumbasses...

  • the myth is busted

  • better building technique could be helping

  • But will it blend?

  • @TheLiqwed Does copying comments from other videos turn you on?

  • @BoltAndPennyFan Does being a dick turn you on?

  • minecraft

  • Duct tape fixes everything

  • it would have been bad ass if it were more round.

  • Well at least it did roll for a short while I did not think it would go even that far. I thought ti would break apart on the first revolution.

  • Not completely busted, better technique of building can do better results... or the glue does :-D

  • They didnt use glue!!?

  • The person who made the video this was based on is probably smiling now/

  • it's transforming at 0:51 :)

  • FAIL

  • Na na na na na na na na na Katamari Damacy.

  • i feel gay know

  • id hate to clean that up...

  • instead of creating a wrecking ball, why not just build a house out of legos?

  • @emmettebrown James May built one in his series about toys

  • can i have the lego :3

  • The other guys on the vid glued it and when it broke they stopped filming and punt

  • When he says "Clean up on isle 5" at 0:48 ,

Does anyone else think he sounds like Shaggy from Scooby doo?

  • @kempset24 i was thinking the same thing

  • @kempset24 YE!

  • Just have to get this out, "Na na na na na na na na na Katamari Damacy!".

  • epic smash

  • waste of legos if only i could grab some of it :D

  • @rice4life007 I was thinking the same thing

  • someone wrote fake on the origional video so it was already busted

  • Have u ever try super glue or some very powerful glue to be together instead breaking into billions of parts?

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • The other video is CGI, I guess...

  • @rhemerik no its styrofoam

  • glue the legos to gether

  • why not make it more round instead of leaving it so blocky...

  • 0:27 epic laughter

  • Why didnt they use Glue!

  • whant 2 roll my balls they bust 2

  • They just build it wrong way. To many large chunks as you can see.

  • 1000 man hours, 10 secs

  • So, this is what happens when a minecraft world falls apart

  • @R1pperAnthon That's not true. Minecraft world is a cube.

  • @R1pperAnthon ahhhh! but minecraft aint round

  • @awsomeisepic Naw, but we can make spheres with the cubes!

(last time I checked lego weren't round too :) )

  • "A huge vertical split busted the ball open"

    I don't feel good anymore...

  • @Datiz0 This one is completly busted , we will not be ever able to jump on ouw balls , or else ...

  • @Datiz0 LOL

  • @Datiz0 ballz...

  • thumbs up if you pee on the side of the toilet bowl to make it quiet

  • Obviously they didn't use very good building techniques. Otherwise it wouldn't have split into large chunks.

They should have hired actual Lego employees or at least adult Lego fans instead. Ugh, Mythbusters FAIL.

  • I've never had to clean up Lego's with a shovel before. hahahahaha love this show.

  • @CharredToxic i the hoe po ta to

  • u should glue it

  • Wow No wonder their ball split they made it out of chunks. Once again idiots have tried and failed before they have their shoes on. To make the ball as strong as possible all bricks should overlap. I could have done a better job when I was 5.

  • @OMGyouAREaTWAT I was thinking the same thing, if the ball was more round the results would have probably been a lot different!

  • Typical mythbusters. They probably didn't do it right. If I had the resources they had I'm sure I could pull this off. I've just seen too many episodes where they try something and it doesn't work so they say "definitely busted". A great example of their ability to fail: the thermite episode. People have been using this shit to cut steel for years, then here come the "mythbusters" to do it wrong and say it's busted. I could have cut the truck in half with thermite, and I'm not even an engineer.

  • hmmm they could have made it much rounder and filled with legos inside O,o plus using just a single 4 by 2 normal blocks

  • Epic Fail !

  • Na na na na na na na na na Katamari Damashi!

  • Two Weeks for 10 secs? what a waste.

  • I like potatoes just not the one used to record this crap

  • Yeah iv seen the original video and this episode and W/e the mythbusters said, they used just cardboard boxes in the video and not a SINGLE lego.

  • @CharredToxic i thought he used my toaster

  • it could be nice if they got a lego ball glued =)

  • we all know it depends how you assemble the blocks. We can see by this video they did a quick job by assembling big blocks and then putting them together, which weakens the structure. Just look at the vid and see as the thing splits apart, the huge cubes of lego just separating as the outer layer of the ball crumbles. Poor engineering that's all.

  • @AlBarathur

Are you shitting me? The joints of the lego blocks are all exactly the same it's doesn't matter how they assembled it.

  • @TheAussieStew

I shit you not. If they assemble 30 cm cubes and then join them on top and bottom with the external layer, that makes it easy to split the task of assembling the huge ball, which was without a doubt a huge task to be sure. But it makes also a much weaker structure considering the efforts applied on the ball, which are not just compression in one direction, but rolling makes the compression forces to rotate around. If you cant visualize it, try it yourself with a smaller ball.

  • @TheAussieStew Hopefully you are not building any bridges, otherwise people are going to get killed.

  • @CharredToxic thanks for making me LOL and my day better

  • BTW the people who made the video glueed it DUH

  • It needed to be more spherical...

  • should have used superglue

  • @CharredToxic i fuckin' LOL'ed all over my keyboard. you're awesome! thanks for the 2 min laugh :D

  • O.o

ive got 1000 lego pieces... only 999000 pices left :b

  • So....Who's putting it back together?

  • Pffff klsacchhhhhhhhhhhh 1:35 xDDDDDD

  • Lego be trollin

  • I saw this episode, I too was stunned at the results. God Bless.

  • @CharredToxic lego potato

  • Lego wave!

  • katamari?

  • @CharredToxic GLaDoS

  • they probley used glue on there ball idk ohwell

  • no..... its just that the ball dosen't like mythbusters

  • This goes to show you, there is no bad results in science.

  • Nothing a little Super Glue won't fix!

  • Now the owner of the actual lego ball video is laughing that myth busters wasted their time disproving their fake creation.

  • Comment removed

  • Respond to this video... fact is, they got a lot of money for what you call "wasting time" while the original builders didn't. who do you think actually wasted time?

  • @RUL1S88 that wasted time is equal to money! if they gave thousands of dollars to make a lego ball, who wouldnt do it :D

  • @zukoerb

    most of people wouldn't.

  • Look at its structure! I've made lego cars for minifigures that survive high speed impact. The speeds are about 30to 40 mph using a complicated launch wheel system involving a motorcycle.

  • lego ball: whatever you do don't try that at home?

  • you did not make it right!

If you make a ball the right way, it can roll thru everest!

  • the original lego boulder didn't have a camera in it.

  • now clean it up

  • are you stupid...? why would u put blocks and u didnt roll it straight...

  • Would have helped if it was more spherical.

  • ANY serious lego builder knows you glue the pieces for elaborate builds ...especially ones that will move

they ARE toys and dont sustain construction grade bonds so if you dont use glue your just an idiot

  • @GinGeeK Or, you're just an idiot if you don't look up what the mythbusters do: the clue is in the name. They're trying to prove or disprove a myth. In the myth, no glue was used. So that's why no glue was used.

Also, "serious lego builder"? Jesus, try building a new life instead.

  • @leerobbo92 typical internet hostility

i didnt say i was a serious lego builder , but even if i was , what would it matter if that was my hobby

you tell me to get a life when you sit around and make cod vids...whats the difference if someone plays cod for fun or builds legos for fun ...by that same logic you should get a life too

  • @GinGeeK Typical internet moral-high grounder...

And I hardly "sit around and make cod vids" if I've put up 2 in the 2/3 years that I've had this account do I...

If you're not a "serious lego builder", how do you know what "ANY serious lego builder knows" then, and why talk like one? Also, at least cod is sociable (I see the irony there, since you have to be indoors playing it, but if Facebook's a "social" networking site then I'd class cod similarly), whereas Lego is a kid's toy.

  • @leerobbo92 why does every other word you write have quotations aroun it. it doesn't make you look superior, just stupid. your "methods" of "trolling" are "terrible."

  • @rummrunner86 If every other word I write had quotations around it, it wouldn't make any sense, it'd just be quotes. Also, I don't use it to be any of those things, you ignorant dickhead. The point of quotations are to stress that it's something they've said, to make sure they understand why I'm making that point. It's called good English, which is far from stupid. And it's hardly trolling, it was a valid point considering it was about a "serious lego builder", let's be honest, unlike yours.

  • The slow motion is awesome... Ha Ha ;!

  • glueing to a ball ...maybe glueing THE FUCKInG BRICKS

  • Weird they didn't think about using glue.

  • @brewerbrian420 I know right? they probably did that in the original video.

  • clean it up?

  • lets hope they used megablocks

  • I'm guessing in the real video it was either fake or completely COVERED in glue.

  • Well obviously the ball failed due to the fact they constructed it from individual large combined lego blocks, and not doing it piece by piece which would essentially connects all the lego pieces and a large web. More strength in it that way.
