i just got the exact same hovercraft along with a near perfect tyco scorcher 9.6v for 50 dollars. i can't find too much info on the mini typhoon 2. mostly all the others. I dont want to drive mine so i dont decrease the value until i find out more about it and how rare it could be. i found one ended auction on the ebay archives, the same craft sold for 60 a few months ago so i'm guess the value at about 60 plus 15 shipping but it sold with "buy it now" so maybe if it was reg auction maybe more.
Hey, i got mine from ebay. I got the same in my childhood, but i think i destroyed it. Yes, its very cool, with good batteries (2800mah) you can drive about 20 minutes i think. Maybe its possilbe to change the engines, it could be a little bit faster in my opinion.

dude if ur gona race ur craft on water try u pool water that dosnt creat drag like curent. but this is a good vid though
