probably why mazda never made this car engine combo!they had close to that with the rx7 in the 70s and i hear driver had way too much fun!imagine a renesis engine

with say 250 hp in a smaller car then the 70s rx7.if it was just me?all sport car from mazda would get rotary.in the 70s designing rotary or any engine for that mather would have been a nighmare but today with computer era in full bloom there is no reason for mazda and ford wankel might be more work.but i bet the builder love wankel

@drbaltazar problem with the average buyer is they dont even know how to change their oil or air filter let alone understand how to maintain one of these. Im not one of these ppl that think you turn the key and they blow up. Im talking about making sure what oil to use and clean the carbon build up out. Now I agree if I was in charge of mazdaspeed they would all have rotaries

I have a 91 miata and i was thinking of puting a small block 302 in it but for the weight I should put a rotary motor in it instead but what motor do you have in this one..?

Thats a 13b. Not to hard a conversion.

They were in production for awhile here in Aus. through a small engineering company.

Less to do, if any with suspension to make it, sorry , keep it handing.

Use the 302 and you willl have to tune the suspesion to make it handle like it did in the first place. What you would spend making the 302 conversion handle well could make the 13B conversion handle perfectly.

This isnt the one which was on AR, pretty sure that was smashed and alot of the parts went into the other one.

Dont underestimate 12As tho, search for the video MR 12A RX3, it runs very low 8s.
