@Nurullah1200 A bow is a very lethal weapon! If shot properly with good placement a deer will expire within 10 seconds and it usually does not even know it was hit. Unfortunately everyone thinks a gun kills quicker than a bow but I have seen more deer injured with guns. Most deer are shot with a bow within 30 yards, while some gun hunters will shoot at deer over 300 yards away without practicing that distance! Good gun/bow hunters practice and know their limits!
@ishotapig Thanks for clearing that up, I didn't know since I never tried hunting. I taught maybe a bow can make a deer suffer a lot more than a gun. But your right you need experience in order to do it right.

@Anonymousniper12 make sure the sites are not moving...put them on and tighten with a bit of loctite so it does not move. If you are shooting and the height is pretty good but the left and right is changing, that is just the way you are releasing. Make sure you come to the same "Anchor" spot before releasing, and release smoothly, no jerking! Hope that helps

@Anonymousniper12 make sure the sites are not moving...put them on and tighten with a bit of loctite so it does not move. If you are shooting and the height is pretty good but the left and right is changing, that is just the way you are releasing. Make sure you come to the same "Anchor" spot before releasing, and release smoothly, no jerking! Hope that helps

@xKJx25 go to your local archery club and tell them you're interested.
my archery club offers beginners training and a beginners bow and arrows you may lend for half a year so you can see whether it really is something for you.

@hothothotmale hunting isn't necessarily animal disrepect. Killing something just to kill it or just to wound it, that i'll agree with you, but a well placed shot is very humane. Another thing you might want to consider is where all the meat in grocery stores come from? Case in point.
