there are other jobs in the Army besides combat jobs. but if u want to see combat, the closest thing to infantry, cav scout, ect. you can get is MP or Medic. so look into one of those jobs.

not to put the 101st first down but plz letsnot act like they went throught the most hell in the war, Look at fighting in the Phillipines and the other Islands in the Pacific. Plus the 32nd Division were the oneswho stayed in the most combat actively so they deserve a mini series more than the 101st but yeah they are good.

Being in the service all I can say is when it really comes down to it, every unit, from combat infantry to Supply, is just as important to the mission. The 101st are given such credit because from the beginning they were thought to be a failure.. but they proved themselves and managed to pull off some pretty amazing feats.
