I wish Kriol people did have a culture as strong as Garinagu people, and not so influence by imperialism. The sad truth is that the occassional ignorance and violent drunken ways, are from our Scottish and Irish slave masters. Kriol culture is soo Belizean in soo many ways and yet, we when music and traditions are talked about, its "Bakabush" Kriol people that practise them. I am from Honduras and so are 3 other dancers, my uncle, the chief of the group is from Labuga, Guatemala. The rest of the dance are from Belize. But in no way are we a Belizean group, we are a Garifuna group, please get your information staright
