How do you install offroad lights?

Oh, I need shoes.... All the wires plug into this little unit thing....Red wires are power, they give you alot of that.... This is the thingy that operates your lights... My high beams are retarded.... If you cut the wrong wire like me, just tape it all back together...

That is the sloppiest install ever! First it's called a RELAY, second cut the excess power wire out so you don't get power loss thru it, third try hiding the wires so the aren't laying across the head of motor, fourth don't buy a ford!

i dont mean to be a jerk but you ground the swtich... so it can work. a switch can break the power or ground. with a swtich you are completing or breaking a circuit. for a circuit to work you need power load and ground. so that switch is breaking the power to the load. just a small lesson to help :)

what the hell have you done? hid's are gay unless you live in the forest or the outback. the ground on the switch is just a negative. if you notice on your battery connector one of the cables from the negative goes to the frame but.overall you need some work your engine compartment looks like a rats nest no one is going to see your engine bay anyways so thumbs up and cheers to a working light system : D

@MurphyisDaCaptain you can cut off the relay, then you should be left with one power wire coming from the light unless the light doesn't ground itself through the mounting bracket then there will be a - and a + wire. just ground the light and the switch and connect the + wires.

Yes, its simple don't tie your offroad lights into your headlamp wiring. I don't know why on earth these videos tie the offroad lights into the headlamp wiring because if you do that and your driving on the road and turn on your high beams you'll quickly blind oncoming traffic plus running offroad lights on the highway is illegal. So simply run a seperate switch for your offroad lights and use them as they're name suggests "offroad". DO NOT run them with your headlight switch

@wildbill23c just so you know when you turn on your hi-beams it does not make your offroad lights come on immediately. Once you turn the hi-beams on you must also turn the green switch on before the offroad lights come on. Thank you and have a nice day.

@MurphyisDaCaptain i dont, just drive it to a car wash let the engine cool down and go nuts with engine degresser and a power washer, just try and not hit wires and places with seals to hard have the hose back a foot or so away and it will be fine
