When i was a teenager practicing karate i could do the splits. I can't now. Stretching really hurts my tendons (i think that's what's hurting, who knows). I wish i had maintained what i had. It would have been easier to maintain then to have to start from scratch now years later. I will try your method. Hopefully, if i can stick with it i will let you know (or anyone viewing) what progress or lack of progress i've made. Thanks. 5 stars.
I think you'll do it soon, 'coz people who did those kinds of stretching can do it faster than others, that 'coz the subconscious and the unconscious parts of mind saved these actions in the hidden memory, so once you start, your brain will send msgs to your muscles and order them to regain these skills even if it takes time. good luck and please tell me what happened with ya.

Nobody is good off if he forces himself to do things that require some physical and psychical skills to master. Frankly speaking - just think about what you want to achieve while training for the splits...
If that's not motivating enough - just quit it ;-)
I think no gymnastic trick can be achieved without hard work - wether it includes pain or not ;-)
It's been 3 weeks now and I can't do the splits yet, but I'm already 15 and I was really unstreches before I started so it's going to take a bit longer for me ;)
I've been doing this for 2 weeks at least once a day and I'm going further down. 2 weeks ago I could hardly touch m toes but now it's no problem any more! I always watch a movie or tv during the tutorial it's less boring and it takes your mind of pain ^^

I use to have the problem as well, have you tried warming the backleg a big more than the other leg?
Is the Backleg your Opposite leg?

Iv been trying this 4 about 4 days and almost at the ground, just about 3 more inches I also love ur accent and your so cute but should u try it on carpet or floor because iv been trying on carpet and now i have 2 really gross blisters and iv used socks but i still get them so could u pleeze help me
