I don't think so. Kidd is a good defender against Billups. Both are big and strong and not very fast. Also Barrea can be a very efficient defender with good on ball defense and quick hands. The other matchups are equal also. Birdman and Hollins are similar. Bass and Martin are similar. 6th men with Terry and Smith are similar. Nene and Dampier as well as Howard and Melo also. So the thing that is left is Nowitzki. To me Dallas may have a slight edge... We will see!

I'm a laker fan too but I think nuggets vs. lakers would be a great series and could last 7 games. I wouldn't be surprised though if nuggets win the series because denver is probably playing the best basketball in the west right now. But we laker fans shouldn't be worried about that right now. Lakers still have to get past the rockets who match up well against them. Bynum is still recovering and Gasol usually doesn't play well against players who are taller or as tall as him.

Yes I am a lakers fan and it would pain me to see them lose in the playoffs, but I'm just speaking the truth. People were automatically thinking that it will be the lakers vs. nuggets in the WCF, but houston is not going to be an easy match up for the lakers. Now I'm not counting out the lakers or anything like that, but just because they have the best record in the west doesn't mean they are automatically going to make it to the finals.

I am a Nuggets fan and I agree with your statement. Nobody gives Denver enough credit. I think the biggest thing was towards the end of the regular season Dallas had not lost at home since the allstar break and Denver came in and beat them. To me that was the biggest indication. I'll say Denver in 6. I'll be at game 2 btw.

They handled a decent team in the Hornets and how they play the mavs will say alot about this team. i think the nuggets CAN beat LA. against utah LA had huge leads at either half time or 4th quarter some by 30 points as you probably know. and nuggets can put up points as fast as any team in the league. with a combination of LA letting teams back in the game with huge leads, and how easily the nuggets can score id say that have a great chance.
