  • the one person who disliked this video thought it would be nascar

  • @MrStonecliff or the guy that almost got hit at 1:53

  • @deltasixfour38 i would bet it was

  • I agree - not heard him before. Very dry.

  • such a good announcer!

  • epic race!!

  • I was cheering for toyota to win it all. They had the speed, the looks..but not the reliability..hey I heard that they are the most reliable cars...Isn't this ironic...go toyota

  • You're a legend for uploading this footage

  • driving at night seems incredibly hard..i mean some areas of the track is like pitch black...i assume its hard seeing where the turns are. Speaking of which I'm wondering..How do you win Le Mans? Is it first to complete 500 laps for example or do they give points for staying in the lead longer and other things liek that?

Thanks for uploading these vids..i love Professional Racing

  • Car that completes the most laps by the end wins.

  • To win you must complete the most laps in the 24 hour period. There are no points given in this race since not a part of any racing series. However, there are several that are based around it.

  • @leonelcuellar Whoever has finished the most laps

  • Fom 07:49 to 07:58 is spectacular cinematography and a gorgeous view!

  • At night the race is amazing, is the better competition. a la noche la carrera es increible sin ninguna duda.

  • That Dams Judd had an absolutely fabulous sound and was fast as hell with Tinseau behind the wheel. I miss the sounds of 99, the Judd, the Ferrari and the Panoz... all legendary

  • I dont mean to sound petty, but the announcer made a mistake at 5:00.#5 Mercedes driven by Peter Dumbrek did not flip and crash on the Mulsanne Straight. It was at the 2nd dog-leg curve on the way "The Kink" and "Indianapolis Corner".

  • Also at 6:45 he says the car span at Arnage where the old pit signalling box used to be. The old signalling box used to in fact be at Mulsanne.

  • Guys, at 00:43, from Audi Team, that was the old black Stig from Top Gear. Driver Perry McCarthy.

    From Wikipedia:-

"Perry McCarthy appeared in 2002 and 2003 on the BBC's Top Gear motoring show as The Stig, a masked, anonymous, racing driver who evaluated the latest high performance cars. McCarthy was the original, black-suited Stig, who was "killed off" at the start of the 3rd series."

He was an F1 Driver as well.

  • well spotted man :o)

  • @MoeTheSyco thanks for the information dude its good to know

  • thank you so much for posting! this is my favourite year for le mans.

  • it looks darker back then than it does now

  • Damn i wish they didnt kill the CLR program that car couldve won le mans 2000

  • haha its probably better to kill the program than to kill all of ur lead drivers.

  • A toyota GT one has retired

  • Yeah, i think that the driver was a little bit tired :P

  • lol that mechinic almost killed hhhhhhhh
