Why didn't you keep it? I had one wander into my yard and I kept him as a house rabbit as he would have died without his mother. He like yours was too young to survive in the wild for long. We thought his mother had been killed, hence the reason he was wandering about. His name became Sherlock and he lived 10 years happy, safe and loved by all.
this is so cute....reminds me of my german shepherd. she lives with 4 bunnies and loves them....doesn't bother them and they use her as a step to get onto the sofa or a hideout if they all play hide and seek.
Dogs play with rabbits as toys, not meaning to, but kill them. Just heard of another story of a GS, loving dog that killed a pet rabbit by tossing it around like a chew toy.
"Oh the poor bunny he's scared." "OH this." "Oh that."
Some people are such complainers, the guy was watching very closely, GSDs aren't very rough animals with anything that's a baby, including human babies, and this rabbit could have easily been eaten or carried off by a hawk, he was safer in doors with this dog then he was outside. STFU.
It's not safe for such a tiny bunny to be with such a huge dog! It's an adorable video but for those who want to do this: even a harmless touch could really hurt the rabbit. The owner was supervising the bunny so it's not a big deal :)
i dont think i would let my dog (doberman) play with a wild baby bunny, not because my dog would harm it, but if the bunny gets a dog scent or human scent on its fur, the mother rabbit wont take it back and feed it or protect it, its obviously very tiny and needs its mother for protection for some time yet....you dont want it being an instant prey item because its mother wont protect it any more...
lol the dog doesn't want to HURT it... the bunny is just so small and the dog can't believe it. The dog is checking out the bunny that what's up with it and wants to play with it but wants to be carefull since the bunny is so small, so relax people!
This was an ignorant and cruel thing to do to this helpless baby. the baby bunny is too young to survive on his own. So unless his mother finds him he is dead. Why didn't you to take him to the shelter where they would have bottle fed him until he was old enough to be released in a habitat for rabbits. This is simply moronic.
I don't mean this in a negative way, but it seems the dog is actually beginning to play with it, then he will eventually kill the rabbit. Many dogs do this, and it's a huge possiblity that he will.
Yeah put me in a room with something 300 times my size that is designed to eat things like me. No, I'm not terrified at all. After all there's cute music playing, how can I be terrified?
I can't do that with my Husky/Wolf <--- Reasons are right there. She has to much of that natural hunter in her. And she is still a pup. So she'd more or less want to "Play" with the bunneh'. Good dog though. Just not with things that are the size of her paw.
Lol! Nothing more luscious than seeing a predator playing with prey, for a predator. I'm pretty sure puppy and I are the ones having fun here, not the little bunny.
What the video doesn't show is the baby bunny being abandoned by it's mother because some stupid human decided it was cute and brought it inside, thus getting their scent on it. Good job.
@DarkRiku435 Like with Any dog, it depends on how you train them. For example,t he ones you know are agressive.Yet in my life, I never saw an agressive one.It just depends on who raised them.A dog is like a child, it will copy the behavior of those around him.In a childs case, it's a parent. In a dog it's a master/owner/friend or which ever way you would like to refer to it.
aslong as the dog is being told of when its getting over excited there shouldn't be a problem with the dog and little bunny being good friends together. It just goes to show you that other animals like dogs can get on with other creatures aslong as they're brought up properly, my dad has a jack russel cross breed and she just lies there with my bunnies. So when people make the excuse when a dog attacks that 'well it is a dog its natural' its no excuse at all its the owners fault not the animal.
we had a bunny that my female GSD would clean and take care of, same with a kitten we raised She would clean her every time we gave her a bottle they slept together..Many shepherds are really quite gentle .. If you know your dog like these people do, they know what they are capable of..
Baby bunnies wean up until 7th week. The dog doesn't look like it would hurt it, but the bunny had the instinct to be around its mama for protection for a few good reasons. I hope he was put back outside near where he was found or at least weaned by hand.
the bunny is kinda tense but its not TERRIFIED if it was it would run for its life its doign what its does in nature freeze when it sees something then runs off this little guy is fine this is probably gonna help him servive he won't very afraid of things that won't harm him usually
@GSDLoversVideos Come on, that bunny is terrified. Poor little thing. Its a little baby, it doesn't know what to do in terms of danger. They are taught by their bunny parents to lay low in case of danger so foxes and things don't see them. They dont RUN off.
And the person is, drastically, getting the bunny used to the dog. What if when released he will think its okay to walk up to dogs? Not all dogs are this nice. He would walk straight to death.
if bunny especially baby bunnies, if they r terrified or scared, they tend to squal like crazy with an annoying high pitch sound, but u can see this bunny is just tense but not tat all scare if not it would run somewhere to hide instead of sit there and do nothing.

I have a German Shepard just like this who's really nice; a little excitable, but nice.
I hate people with the misconception that all German She[ard are mean. >:(
When I walk her people go out of their way to not get close to us, and at some point I yelled at this one lady for bitching me out about walking her.
She was all like, "that animal is dangerous and you shouldn't bring it on this public path!"
And I was like, "the only danger here is your shitty personality!"
