  • Doet me denken aan de sixties met mijn kristal ontvanger.Geweldig nummer en tijd.

  • Something tells me 6 people aren't into something good.

  • Holly Batman a really wholesome group! This had to be back when people thought tats were for sailors and putting more holes in your body only pertained to ladies and their ears!

  • just another great group.

  • growing up, these classics were ruined by shitty adverts. at 27 ive only just learnt to stomach these songs and im appreciating them for what they were meant to be.

  • That fucking smile. It's just outrageous. What fuckin....ahh...jesus.

  • I used to listed to this when I was like 5 or 6 and could not stop listening to it.

  • don't know why this song reminds me of The Naked Gun (:P)

  • I love Peter Noone to death, and this is positively groovy, but I like The Cookie's original better.

  • hey one of these guys are still active, sings in one of the canary islands. i don't want to tell you which. or i won't get a sunbed

  • Ah Peter is such a nice guy :) I met him, he's hilarious! I love Herman's Hermits and always will! Their music never gets old!

  • Now this is the shit!! Classics kick ass!!! I grew up listening to the Beatles, the Supremes, the Go-Gos,etc... but i was born in the 90s ;) how's that for culture and class?? ...lol

  • Hey, look at those "French Cuffs" on all the guys. I used to wear French Cuff too, still do at times. My mother gave real silver ones. Two friends also gave them to me when I was ordained a Catholic priest back 1n 1965. Co-incidence: I was into something good too! The priesthood. Thanks!

  • Hated this song when it came out.

  • Always reminds me of "The Naked Gun" lol

  • this video is resembling old America in the earlyer days

  • For some reason the lead singer reminds me of modern day Jon Bon Jovi

  • I met the lead singer Peter Noone 6 months ago after a concert. He gave me an autograph and took a picture with me. It was fun. The autograph lines was super long. We were almost the last ones but he did not leave until he got to everyone. :) I am glad to be a Peter Noone/Herman fan.

  • bad, sad and scruffy-toothed manc freak!! by A Scouse ;)

  • peter noone was such a cutie pie baby that you want to adopt him...very talented bunch of guys!

  • poppazz.1..i was only 5 years of age too,i was born in november 1960.i remember these songs because they were so memorable .

  • 5 people were into something bad.

  • AMAZING

  • Happier times

  • Hey now, don't hate on the kids these days. In 1965 my PARENTS weren't even born yet, and I'm fully aware that the music today is mediocre and embarrassing compared to the artists of the past. The late 60's were a great time for music, I'm just fairly bummed I wasn't around for them.

  • John Lennon always call Peter Peter No-Ones..

  • Hell,I was FIVE in '65!

  • Love it! Peter Noone looked like my cousin Geoffrey!!!

  • Was life ever that simple?

  • @TheGB1950 Yes it was until the Vietnam war came about and then the world started falling apart which it's even worse today.

  • @TheGB1950 Yea, it Was.....I Was There. Graduated High School when this song was Popular.

  • The Naked Gun!

  • yanno, im like modern music, but unlike everyone else, i realize that THIS is real music. you all know kids today, you can just imagine when i pull out of the school parking lot, rocking to Herman's Hermits, The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, etc....speechless

  • this takes my wife back when herman kissed her hand

  • I noticed the boys were wearing Beatle boots.

  • a copy of the beatles

  • @vieska33 No.....just no

  • 5 people aren't into something good.

  • I love this song :) The first time I heard it was when I was, oh, five years old and watching one of those The Brave Little Toaster movies. lol...

  • I love this song, it brings me back to....

  • bajista zurdo cool (0:50)

  • @therotiv4 Echa un vistazo a Paul McCartney.

  • This is Peter before he got his teeth fixed. Still, he was as cute as could be!

  • I think this is hermans hermits best song

  • i love this song i wasnt born when i herd it my dad got me in to it

  • Peter Noone must have been only the 2nd youngest universal teenage idol after

Ricky Nelson. He was so young his voice was kind of squeaky still but it was the

most loved voice heard on college campuses by millions worldwide. I know it was

what we listened, whistled, & grooved to in S'pore & Malaysia every weekend in the

    later part of the 60s.

  • @margaretscleong In Singapore and Thailand? You must have understood English, of course. The British did something good. They spread the English languish around the whole Empire. It's perhaps the most universal language today. A retired Catholic priest in Canada. In the 1940's in my town(Hamilton, Ontario) we had the largest outdoor market in the British Empire. My Father would take me there every week to buy some "Head Cheese" and "Tongue". British Subjects until '47 then Canadian Citizens!

  • @watchful38 Sorry for the late reply. I deleted the

notification from Ytube accidentally. I meant S'pore

& Malaysia. Singapore used to be part of Malaysia.

Everyone used to speak English fairly well under

the Brits, till the formation of Malaysia in 1963 (could

have been 1962..don't rightly remember) changed

all that. Then we had to surrender our British passports

    & learn the Malay language.

  • @margaretscleong Well, Hello, Malaysia! i had a friend from Singapore, Jacob Teo. I was a priest in Bermuda & he became Catholic. I baptized and confirmed him. Before i left in 1981, he gave me a Seiko watch which I still have. He was then in Texas, then in Australia. He was a pastry cook. He married a Catholic from Honk Kong. We exchanged letters & phone calls, but I have lost track of him. In 1996 he sent me a photo of his family(four kids). I still have the pic. He's 58 now!

  • @margaretscleong One night, about 10 years ago, I even called Singapore. The operator told me there was a Jacob Teo listed. It was not my friend, but I talked to a Mrs Teo for about 20 minutes. Her husband was Catholic. Y'know, if the British had held on to Singapore for two more weeks, the Japanese would have had to retreat because of supply lines. I have talked to the International Operator, but cannot find Jacob. He was in Sydney for many years. We shall meet again I'm sure!

  • @watchful38 What an interesting story of friendship!

Jacob Teo sounds like a typical Straits Chinese. He's

probably still living in Sydney or the operator would have

found him for you. Of course you'll see him, why he may

even be reading this. BTW, I'm Catholic too.

  • @margaretscleong Congratulations on being Catholic. It is a great gift that "we carry in earthen vessels". Do continue to deepen your Faith. "Faith is the reality of things hoped for." (Heb 11:1) Pope Benedict explains this verse by saying that "the reality hope for" is Heaven(Union with God). This union with God is already a present reality in us. Faith is a living thing, knowing and loving God even now. Our Faith will come to its fulfillment in heaven. Thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • @watchful38 Thanks! I agree with you, & Amen to your

    expression of Faith.

  • @margaretscleong Yes, I will see Jacob again, at least in Heaven. To see him again is something to look forward to. I will pray that God will never forget Jacob and his family. BTW, Emily Dickenson, the American poet, wrote: "Parting is all we know of Heaven, and all we need of Hell." I agree. "Eye has not seen nor ear heard of what God has prepared for those who love Him." Heaven will be beyond our imagining. St. Paul says marriage itself is only a faint image of Heaven!!!

  • @watchful38 At least you have something to look forward

to when departing this life, reuniting with a good old friend.

I must read up Emily Dickenson. Don't know much about

Heaven, but I do know she wrote beautiful poetry!

  • @margaretscleong Margaret, please profit from U-Tube. Watch EWTN, The Journey Home, Catholic Hymns, Catholic Theology, Peter Kreeft, and the topic will bring up a wealth of beauty and information about your Church. I have an answer to the existence of evil, although they say it is a mystery. Mystery, Yes, but not completely beyond our understanding. I can't elaborate here. My e-mail: >puddingtop@hotmail.ca< if you wish to talk further. God Bless you! Father Peter.

  • @margaretscleong word!

  • @RickyFanNelson Word? Sorry, have'nt the faintest idea

what you mean. Care to explain?

  • @margaretscleong i ment i agree with you!

  • @RickyFanNelson Thank you! Good to know someone

is in sync with me. Merry Christmas to you!

  • @RickyFanNelson Thank you! Good to know someone is in sync

with me. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you!

  • @margaretscleong you too!

  • For those of you who listen to lady ga ga and Justin what's his name, this is what is called music. I know it's confusing, but with Gods help maybe you'll understand the difference if you live long enough.

  • i love him he really funny and nice

JUSTIN BIEBER STOLE A HERMAN HERMIT HAIRCUT

    WOW HOW SAD!

  • @MsPokeyman herman hermit should sue for patent rights

  • I preffer The Company Was Gay song.

  • Comment removed

  • @JJMFB1 Wtf? I'm speaking about No Milk Today!! The Herman Hermit's song, I ment that I like the other song ( No Milk Today, if you couldn't tell either) better than this one. It says, '' No milk today, the company was gay''... idiot. Stop being a faggot, and stop writting comments until you stop being one.

  • Comment removed

  • @JJMFB1 The company was Gay. Gay back in the days doesn't mean homo sexual. It simply means happy. He was not hinting Peter Noone was gay. You don't have to be rude saying stop the drugs. Music is for peace loving people. Also respect the elders. They know more than you do.

  • Comment removed

  • @JJMFB1 Before you call anyone stupid look at yourself first. You didn't realize Gay didn't mean homosexual during the height of this song otherwise you wouldn't have made your ignorant comment. You probably wasn't born yet and you don't have to cover your pride. You can learn as you grow. Your immaturity is a bi product of your youth. Stop pretending to be old. You are clearly a misguided youngster. When you get matured enough you will look back and get disgusted of your arrogance.

  • Comment removed

  • @JJMFB1 Twisting fact is a sign of your immaturity. You were mad at the hint that Peter Noon was "Gay" because you didn't know Gay means happy back then. It is only around 2 decades or so that Gay means homosexuality.

It's useless to talk to crooked mind like you. I looked at your history of activity. People called you moron, idiot, stupid, fool, impotent, now think why they called you that, and what will you be called next. Have pity on yourself before you further put yourself into ridicule.

  • Comment removed

  • @JJMFB1 Don't mind me. I'm only one. Think about all those many other people calling you stupid, moron, dumb, idiot, and other derogatory terms. Why do you think they despise you? Are they all wrong and you are always right? Open your mind. There is something wrong with you.

I've been in Youtube for I think 4 years now. So far only 3 people called me stupid. One was a confessed pedophile, the other was a Pornographer and the third one is you.

You were called stupid by normal people. Think.

  • Comment removed

  • @JJMFB1 You're starting to sound funny. Yes I've been to heated arguments with Liberals, Gay proponents, extreme Zionists and extreme anti Israelis but we never stoop down to name callings.

Unlike you, my opponents never called me dumb, moron, idiot, impotent etc. As I've said only 3 people called me stupid in 4 years. A pedophile, a porno advocate and you.

Can you sleep at night knowing how you were regarded by your fellow men? Never to late to change. Arrogance and rudeness is your downfall.

  • @JJMFB1 Dammit, you're to old to use Youtube Grandpa, go away...

  • Comment removed

  • @JJMFB1 Well, that shit is true, I contribute nothing to society, i've never seen it that way, that underaged persons don't contribute a thing... man that way of thinking is sad. You must be a very sad and miserable man.

  • i knew it couldnt be just a one night stand!
