  • Awesome!

  • i absolutely LOVE being vegan!

  • @BethuneGal As long as you don't fling red paint at people.

  • I thought an Ironman was bad, but an Ultraman?!? Jeez!

  • cool dogs.. i hope nobody eats them too

  • Thank God for people like him :]

  • Meat is digested twice as quickly as plants. Our digestive tract has the proportional length of an herbivore. What this means is that meat begins to decompose inside us when its halfway through our system. Anyone wonder why we get sick so easily? It's because our immune systems are constantly fighting the rotting food inside our bodies.

And I find it funny that people get sick from eating meat after a while of avoiding it. Our body actually protests against eating it. What other food does that?

  • @rhcp500 Our body rejects meat after prolonged avoidance of meat products because we stop producing the digestive enzyme that is built specifically for animal products. Our body does this with any consumption behavior we partake in that makes it unnecessary to produce natural chemicals, whether it be avoidance behavior like vegetarianism or addictive behavior that impedes the production of neurotransmitters.

I am a vegetarian so not trying to convince otherwise.

  • I thought it was about Rick Roll.

  • Rich Roll finished the Ultraman event in one piece..not bad eh?

  • I am a Vegan because of PETA, i can't thank PETA enough but to give them what they have given me. I became a veg. when i was 11 by an org. just like PETA. God Bless you all !

  • I was a vegan for two years and I was so dizzy, lightheaded, and nauseous the whole time. I tried really hard to stick to it, but eventually I started adding organic dairy back into my diet. Humph.

  • @iSingLaLaLove Did you eat enough? What is also worth mentioning is that Vegan diet if applied correctly, meaning not over indulge in proteins and fats, have a detoxing effect. You describe the symptoms of such a thing taking place, not know to much about you, some people have more toxins than others and some are adding toxins to their body without knowing it. Perhaps you should give it another go but add more fruit to your diet and remember to eat enough. XD

  • @iSingLaLaLove sounds like you ate too much salt and grease.

  • we need athletes like this!!!

  • greatttttttttt video!!!

    go vegan!!!!!!!!

  • Lisa is so gorgeous and awesome. I always like watching her on Bill O'Reilley. He has such a crush on her and is putty in her hands. Go girl!

  • 2:30 SHE HAS NO ARM!!

  • i think veganism and atheism will lead us to a new enlightenment...with a splash of buddhist philosophy...minus the dogma.

  • @MrNemy86 Vegetarian diet is indeed superior, atheism is not related to this at all as the philosophy is of a less caring nature. Atheism appears also to be on the loosing side as more and more people become believers. If people would be interested in finding the truth instead of the latest fad then we would have an enlightenment.

  • I wonder how much protein he eats? According to Colin Campbell, rats spontaneously exercise twice as much on a diet with only 5% of calories from protein.

  • the china study? i'm reading it now :) go vegan!!!

  • @toppinzr not too much. i mean he does take hemp/rice protein powder...but not more than a tablespoon of each post workout

  • The Bible does not say that Vegan is the way to eat. After a great deluge and severe earth changes God's advice to man changed regarding diet. As now the earth was probably not entirely equatorial and sub-tropical. The Levitical advice on eating clean animals is quite known as the final word on diet. And this is the Old Testament. Jesus doesn't mention a word about Veganism and supposedly ate lamb at passover. The Bible is not a good source to back up Veganism.

  • The bible isnt a good source to back anything up. It is flawed, outdated and inconsistent. :)

  • Hey Rich can I go for a swim in your pool when CTSC is crowded? Why are you swimming there???!!!

On the other hand can you send me your food menu for a week and I will try it.

  • ive been a vegan for almost 7 months now. I have lost weight but im still chubby from all the bad food i have had. but i have so much enegry now lol, im the fastest runner out of all my friends and the heaviest because of the muscle that i have lol, idk its weird

  • LOL im the same way, i thought just going vegan alone would do the trick but of coarse exercise,it was hard letting go of chips and other junkfood but i did and i feel like im floating when i walk..hmmm...maybe i should see a doctor about that.LOL

  • What? No ones going to say it? Fine I'll do it. Wonder if Rich Roll has ever been Rick Roll'd?

  • wow i love what your doing.i look up to you your like a hero

  • If you look at the entire history of humankind you will see the glaring truth that the imposition of a vegan diet is truly unnatural to the norm of diet that has sustained humanity. And you will find that certain body types cannot be healthy without some animal food in the diet. While other body types can get away and even thrive without animal foods. The diversity in human physiology cannot promote a one diet for all philosophy.

  • kthorn, if you look into the statistics by country, people who subsist on fish and vegetables live longer, have a lower rate of cancer, and have better overall mental health.

Japan has a much larger smoking population than many Western countries, but because of their diet, they live much longer, and have a significantly lower rate of cancer and cardiovascular disease.

A blanket statement, like, "there is no uniformly healthy diet" sounds right but doesn't have much substance.

  • Fish are animal products. So thank you for making my point.

Or am I mistaken without my Vegan Bible in front of me to define what is an animal and what is meat...and somehow fish is not included.

  • People that eat no fish live even longer.

  • untrue scientific research proves we were MADE to be vegatarian, flat teeth and all. That is why primates and monkeys are mostly vegetarian (they're the closests to us) it even says it in the bible (for those who follow it)

  • Wrong. Your teeth are not totally flat like an herbivores. Teeth would indicate, at least, a 20% diet of animal food and an 80% diet of plant-based foods. The intestinal tract also tells the same tale, unless you chew cud and have a couple extra stomachs. Humans are omnivores by definition, not herbivores, not carnivores...scientifically speaking.

  • we are omnivores, but studies show we do better on meat free diets.

  • Exactly I mean even chimpanzees will eat meat if there is nothing else available but it is not ideal.

  • i think everyone likes to ignore that our teeth and headshapes are completely different to meat eating animals, and that we have a long digestive system like a herbivore.

  • Chimpanzees are our closest relation in DNA (97-99%) and guess what, they hunt and eat one another on a regular basis. We have K9's to chew on meat. It is why the Hindu religion flatten their teeth because they are vegetarians and don't want to have the 'animal' eating trate. Eat how your ancestors ate. It is your destiny.

  • @TheElectroVibes I actually think we are closer to the Raddish! Some would argue a closer relation to the Collieflower, personally I say Banana, we share after all 50% of DNA with the Banana and that is my favorite fruit.. although I don't think it is my ancestor or that i had one as an ancestor. Truth is there are people with opinions and they do what they can to make others make decisions based on their opinions. Not a good way of living a life in my honest opinion. XD

  • @TheElectroVibes so if chimpanzees are eating each other, what's wrong then if i catch some man and eat him? There is no such thing as Hindu religion, in India there are many different religions and to give to all of them one word- Hindu religion is the same as to tell "America religion" for all religions in America. So would be interesting to know in which religion people flatten their teeth, never heard of such thing

  • @TheElectroVibes if you advise to eat how our ancestors ate, then you could try to go and kill some animal by your own hands . and when you kill him, check the feeling in your heart- how do you feel, do you feel you did something good or bad. If you feel good, then nobody' ll be able to convince you that its bad, maybe just watching some movie (lets say "Earthlings"). Thing is people buy meat in the shop and dont bother how it came there, they didn't see the suffering of animals

  • thats a complete lie about needing animal foods.

Animal foods are packed full of cholestrol, fat, and nowadays, chemicals.

  • hmm that's interesting. factory farming is also truly unnatural. as are antibiotics which are in all factory farmed meat, including fish.

  • He is exactly right!!!! You do feel way better and your body feels much better once you go vegan!!!

I am 100% vegan going on about 4 months now. Im proud of myself for sticking to it.
