wow 400k miles and still running strong? That is awesome. We have a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis GS with a 128k miles and Im hoping she will hit at least 300k. I think the Marquis and town car pretty much have the same parts I know they both have the same 4.6 V8 engine.
@jeremy32100 All original engine and transmission, etc. The only major part(s) we changed on it were the differential and the rear axle (snapped due to a recall which wasn't fixed by the previous owner). Other than that it was just brakes, rotors, tires, oil, and then coil packs and spark plugs (the usual stuff)
@CsalbertCs Haha, that's right. Dad said a customer said this car was smoother than all the other Town Cars he's ridden in. Too bad they're going to be discontinued in 2011. : /

400,000 miles and it drives better than some cars that are brand new :)

@xspartanX3x I got it in January 2007 for $10,000. As of today, it has over 400,000 miles (it's used for a limo service).
