  • I just hate Iggnorant christians.

  • yeah, I'm afraid the Jews were right.

  • Having experienced an "out-of-body walking in spirit" episode due to an accident ~ an event which decades later I am still attempting to fully understand ~ should I then turn my entire mind over to some "pastoral individual" who has never been lucky enough to experience same? Why should I ever be inclined to accept the preachings of those who consider that they have "all the keys" due to their OWN interpretations scriptures of the faiths, (all of which are of extremely dubious provenances)?

  • If I, among the approx 7 billion mankind, am individually "devoid of face", in that I look out of my own face, and experience, thereby, "individual spirit" and a connection to all nature, and "spirit of cosmos", including perhaps, "God"; why the fark, then, should I abbrogate this wondrous position to a separate dickheaded individual deciphering his interpretations of an arcane book in man's world, written by the hands and minds of other such men? An extremely ludicrous proposition ~ Yes?

  • Ah yes, Christianity is the only way to God! Take heed tho, if you choose Catholicism you choose Satan, according to Protestants. And amongst the Protestant faiths, each of the faiths accuses each of the others of not having the "True Word". So, in between working six days a week, providing for my family and attending to all other business, and observing the Sabbath, I also must not rely on "preachers", and do my own study of the extremely arcane! Crikey, Bible God's a smart fellow, isn't he?

  • Jesus is the only way to Heaven,He is the only one who has made it possible, every other religion and cult in the world is a way of works, rituals, rules, performance, conduct, and what you must do,through Christ,it is all grace and what he has already done for every person who will trust Him, we receive the gift of salvation, eternal life, forgiveness, and Heaven as our home simply by receiving His gift by Faith, the Gospel Message the Good News is unique and is true, the best News for the world.

  • @mcd2323apologist

Thanks for writing that paragraph. Last night i was watching a special HBO on practicing the koran and one of the guys started talking about doing good works here so that depending on your works you will be given a certain level of heaven. That however is wrong because the bible teaches that good works will not save you and how can heaven possibly have different levels? The Lord does not restrict certain parts of heaven. It's all there for you to see. Thank you.

  • Hinduism allows infinite ways to divinity

  • to drfoxcourt.....Why?...because man has fallen away from his Creator thru sin...sin feels good, but the paycheck is DEATH...no-one wants to die,but everyone will...in order to be reconciled to God,one MUST go thru Jesus...the penalty for sin,HE took upon HIMSELF that u may walk free in this life and spend eternity w HIM after we leave this life...Before Jesus came ,they sacrificed animals to please God,Jesus was the last sacrifice..now God looks at us thru Jesus and is pleased...choose life

  • Every religion is self-preserving. This is why deities are assumed jealous by their followers and apostasy is always a sin no mater the religion. If a religion were not exclusive in this way, it would not survive (and would not be nearly as destructive upon non-believers).

The truth is not a popularity contest! ... and must there be any way to God? Why?

  • Religion does and does not pave the way to God. Faith in itself tramples religion, underfoot all of that is the fear of death. If people lived with common sense rather than arrogance and were not so fucking biased we'd be better off. Religion in itself represents the corruption of human nature that goes along with people who are given authoritative position when it comes to religion. All those who disagree, go ahead, all those who have common sense, congrats, very few of you these days.

  • specially search how yusuf estes a former Christian became muslim and why?

  • islam is the right way cant u see its the fastest growing religion in World....search it urself and see wht ppl have to say who reverted to islam and previously they were non muslims

  • @versatileguys Dude, Muhammed wa deceived by Satan and He is still deceiving people today. People revrting to Islam is only a fulfillment of scipture in 1Tim 4:1 that in the last days, many shall depart from the faith...giving heed to doctrines of devils. That is the reason Islam is growing; in fact, it will grow more, but it's all Satan's plan to destroy souls in hell. Jesus is your saviour, my friend and without Him we are all lost.

  • @73geneva IIs asatan a reality? Can you share with me how you are sure SATAN is a reality?

  • jeesh guys, why argue. aethism is easily awesome. we have started no holy wars, we have had a lot of martyrs (for severeal hundred years being an aethist was a ticket for getting unpleasant things done to you) and we definitely haven't spent tons of time and money counting jesus sightings. and there was the evil of that wonderful thing known as the medevil ages. were ignorance replaced science, and all of the knowledge of the roman empire was destroyed by yours truly the christians

  • ill still need answers to this question, y are people born into false religions to never find their way to christianity if it is the true way... are they condemned forever to hell because they were told all their life that their religion was the way to an eternal life?

  • @GIANTPANCAKES

I've asked that question so many times to so many different Christians, it's not even funny.

It is truly the Achille's Heel of not only Christianity but all religions that claim to be the "one right one." It is so frustrating to me that these religious people don't seem to understand that religion is TAUGHT and absorbed much like language is. I never get a satisfactory answer to this - EVER. All religions claim to be 'the one" and none have proof over the other.

  • @1ProudFemaleAtheist yea neither have i but u just never know anymore.... have u asked other people who believed in other religions that question

  • Ms.Mythbuster you can go and be stupid if you want because buddhist is not the biggest religion. Look it up u idiot it is christianity, islam, hindu and then so on because chrisstianity has the most then islam and other religions u may bow down to a fat statue but thats not the truth

  • @IsraeliLuv

And you may bow down to a man nailed to a stick, but that's not the truth either.

  • i agree xtianity is the best way to free 1self from rational thinking

  • No Buddha has the most followers ... 2.5 billion which means close to 1 out of every 2 people see Buddha as God. India and China are the fastest growing religions because God loves Buddhists the most. Xiantity would not exist if it was not for Constantine spreading this myth by the sword.

  • what? buddha a god?

    what r u talking about?

buddha is a title like pope it means the 1 who awakened

there is only about 1.5 -1.6 bil of ppl who adhere to Buddhist teaching as i cant really refer to buddhism as a religion

  • You're a silly fool. First of all Buddhism is no where near 2.5 billion large. It's more like 1.2 to 1.6 billion. Second of all Buddhism is not even a theistic religion -- they do not believe Buddha is a god. Thirdly it is not the fastest growing religion. And fourth Constantine is hardly responsible for any part of Christianity's existence today. Get out from in front of your idiot box and go read a book.

  • religion results to fundamentalism which then results to conflicts, which then results to disagreement, which then results to war. You can say that well if everyone was the same religion, there would be no problems, except it would take a different form. Mormonism is a form of Christianity that people disagree on, Christianity is a from of Judaism that people disagreed on 2000 years ago and it all causes religious conflicts. If the world was not religious there would be no conflicts

  • @dclaver2

lol buddy ever heard of communism? Give me a break. Your facts are simply false, and they pose no relevant threat to the actual issue of whether Christianity is true.

And for the record Mormonism is not a form of Christianity. Just because someone makes use of the Bible does not make them a Christian. Mormonism is a vastly different belief system that believes that people become gods of alien worlds when they die.

You, too, need to stop listening to whatever you hear.

  • Gods of Alien worlds? Mormons believe that Joseph Smith is a prophet, and that Gold plates were buried in New York that was the new testament of the bible, Scientology is about all human emotions come from dead alien souls. Also how is saying if the world was non religious, then it would be communism? I hear americans all the time saying Christianity is the right faith, everyone should be Christian. So these people who believe that, wouldn't you consider them communists too?

  • @dclaver2

Yea, gods of their own worlds. Maybe you should spend a little less time on the internet and a little more time in books. As for communism, do you even know what it is? The greatest genocides and and mass extermination of peoples in history have been led and advocated by communism regimes that boldly promoted atheism. Your claim that "if there were no religions, there would be no problems" is absolutely laughable.

  • Also Christianity always change it's forms. First it was Catholic, then there was Catholic and the east orthodox church, then there was Protestant, then mormons. It changes a lot, and more and more people today say that logic is stronger than fiction. You know what, the book of Mormon is the only way to heaven because my prophet, my bible, my church, and my people say it's the right religion.

  • @dclaver2

You just keep telling yourself that kid. You're not fooling anybody who actually bothers to look into this stuff with any degree of honesty.

  • There is no such things as "Mormonism"

  • @girzwald3

So I guess all you have to do to change a fact now is state it on YouTube?

  • Its its complete and total irony that you say you need stop listening to whatever you hear when you spew BS like that. Thats a complete and utter hyperbolic distortion of what the Mormons believe.

You really should be ashamed of yourself.

Just because you have an utter disdain of Mormons, doesn't make them not Christians. A christian a person who follows the teachings of Jesus, believes he is the son of God and the only way to salvation.

  • @girzwald3

I see no irony in my comments. What I do see though are a lot of baseless assertions coming from those who apparently want to pick a fight. I have no "disdain" for Mormons; I actually have a big heart for them. That is why I study their beliefs, so that I can respectfully stimulate conversation with them. Mormons claim to follow Christ but they teach additional doctrines that are in complete conflict with what Christ taught.

  • Actually you do. Sorry, watching the youtube video "video banned by the mormon chruch" doesn't count as "studying their beliefs".

Your hyperbolic and inaccurate statements both prove that you study nothing and have nothing but disdain for them.

Unless you would consider someone describing all of Christianity as....."the system where people follow the teachings of a zombie bastard child of a cruel, homophobic, racist cloud man" NOT hyperbole and disdain. Cause that's pretty much what you did.

  • Actually I do what? Are you psychic now too?

"Proven"? lol. What, because you say so? Stop kidding yourself kid and go read a book, like the rest of us are busy doing. You don't Pprove" anything by making baseless assertions and downtalking people.

  • @girzwald3

And I'm sorry if my comments disturb you emotionally, but your dislike for what I have to say is irrelevant in a consideration of what is actually true. Anyone who actually studies Mormonism and biblical Christianity will come to the conclusion that the two, while agreeing in some areas, also teach incompatible doctrines.

  • This also proves your disdain for Mormons. There is no such thing as "Mormonism". "Mormons" is just a nick name. Their actual name is The church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints or LDS. The have no problem being called "Mormons". But "Mormonism" is a misnomer, perpetuated by people like you who, like I said, have nothing but disdain for them.

I'm sorry you have both a black heart and clouded mind. Your arrogance will be your undoing. Humble yourself before God before its too late.

  • I'm quite well aware of the name of the church. And the word "mormon" originates out of MORMONISM itself. It comes from the title of "The Book of Mormon," Mormon being the name of an alleged 4th century prophet. Mromons adopted the word themselves sometime in the 1830s-40s. Why are you not aware of this, with your keen knowledge of the subject?

And again, stop kidding yourself. Just listen to your angry and condensending attitude. What right do you have to be speaking of humility?

  • Thereis.....no......such......thing.........as......

    Mormonism.

I point again to the irony of you telling people not believe everything they hear, while spewing BS misinformation you've heard from biased sources. For as much research as you claim to have done, you don't know that the book of Mormon was named after the LAND of Mormon. Not the man.

  • @girzwald3 The only thing I'm thinking right now is that you've spent a little too much time on the internet. You make baseless assertions and simply expect people to believe that they are the "proper and/or accepted" facts when in point of fact you are the only one around making them.

  • Again. So much irony. Whered you get that info on Mormons? My guess would be the internet. Oh but your internet info is right and mine is wrong, because you say so. OKAY. Flawless logic.

Again, more irony. Baseless assertions? You baselessly assert that its "Mormonism" when they don't even call themselves that and they have said they don't like being called that because its #1 Not their name #2 The reasoning behind being called that are falsehoods.

  • By the words of Jesus, who fulfills the ancient prophecies of the coming messiah, he is the only way to God, and all other religions are in vain. He says that many will be damned by trying to enter in other ways, but only a few will enter in by Him. If you want to know the truth and how to get to Heaven and not be damned, contact me... not to bash, argue, or offer any other method or belief. If you want to know the truth, then I would be glad to share it with you and show you the way to life.

  • talk to u local rabbi he will explain to u in details why jesus did not fulfill even 1 requirement to be jewish messiah

  • Christianity must not be the only way and it is also not which is the right way. It is the bias and selfishness the only way. If religious cults keep it up that way, people would certainly have to take care of them. All people are oppressed because of them. Practicing medicine, creating social welfare, and providing education, then we would send you as our disciples to gods who forgot his humanity and kindness.

  • Mr.Kouri, if I got your bullshit rhetorics correctly, should we again try to round up all the Jews and Buddhists, and solve the problem with the final solution? There seems to be only one way to God according to you, so what are we waiting for?Are you calling for another Mission Extermination?

Besides, why can't religious nuts just answer the question straight forwardly, rather than bypassing the question with notions that they themselves don't even understand?Never mind, that's the whole point!

  • 01. A "Final Solution" analogy? It's like you ignored everything Koukl had to say. You'd seriously get toasted in a legit debate.

    02. "Religious nuts?" Nice ad hominem attack. Might as well call them "poopy faces."

    04. I like how you claim Koukl is "bypassing the question" when he was obviously defining terms and setting aside general misconceptions (you know, that thing you seem to be doing throughout your entire comment?).

    04. Great job amateur. I'm glad you know how to use spellcheck.

  • :))

  • The Old Testament outlines how slaves should be treated, and so condones slavery. Jesus in the New Testament said I and my father are one, and all the old laws shall remain in force forever.

I guess this is why Judeo-Christian death cult followers raise their children to believe they are better than all others and deserve to live off other people's labor.

  • Great job at picking and choosing verses.

You're no better than those fundamental Christians who chop up that infamous Richard Dawkins video so it looks like he gets stumped about a so-called "creationist question."

Proper study of the biblical history reveals that in many cases, the bible is DESCRIPTIVE not PRESCRIPTIVE (even when it comes to Mosaic laws).

Also, "all the old laws shall remain forever?" Right. You speak as if Jesus didn't break those laws himself.

  • Is it not within the realm of your thinking that one can hold there is a higher power, but not believe that higher power to be the Christian god? That's obviously what Lincoln believed.

  • Here's more from Abe Lincoln: "My earlier views on the unsoundness of the Christian scheme of salvation and the human origin of scriptures have become clearer and stronger with advancing years, and I see no reason for thinking I shall ever change them."

    Clear now?

  • Thou shalt not Murder. Should that be kept out of politics? How about thou shalt not steal. Should we get rid of the laws against stealing? I think not. Most laws are based in morality. And morality is usually based in religion. Abe Lincoln thought that slavery was wrong based on his religious upbringing.

Should he have stayed out of politics?

  • Here's what Lincoln really thought: " The Bible is not my book nor Christianity my profession."

I'm tired of people using famous figures to justify their own beliefs and don't know what the hell they're talking about.

  • I don't know where your quote comes from but here is one from Abraham Lincoln First Inaugural Address "If the Almighty Ruler of Nations, with His eternal truth and justice, be on your side of the North, or on yours of the South, that truth and that justice will surely prevail by the judgment of this great tribunal of the American people." Who is the eternal Almighty Ruler of the nations if not God?

  • He was most likely a Deist but I do not think that he was a Christian, as many other presidents of this country were not.

  • All religions and cults should be kept out of politics.

  • @wopwoman That's absurd. How is that possible if religious beliefs are a part of or formed by your worldview?

  • this is some ignorant dumb shit
