  • We were way too close to this one. We holed up at the Springhill Suites in Ardmore on I35 and gathered in the hallway (like that was any protection)...then the tornado signature of flickering lights, then power gone, the noise, etc.

  • i live several miles south of Lone Grove on Cheek. theres still a home south on cheek that was hit by the tornado, the owners partly tore the home down but you can still see the damages from the twister. i wasnt home at the time, but thank god i wasnt. appreciate everything the national guard did to secure the area after the tornado. bless our troops and bless the familys that lost loved ones in the tornado.

  • Good shots and stills on the tornado. I was chasing that same day in the Yukon and Oklahoma City area when things started firing up.

  • Ok I found where the Bar K Mobile Home park was. After seeing what was left of the mobile home park this tornado was extremely devastating leaving only 3 of the 30 mobile homes that were in the park. Not to mention some of the homes close by were completely gone gifving it the EF4 Rating.

  • where is the Bar K Mobil Home Park. Not one news article said exactly where it was located. Was it on Brock Road or ???????

  • February 10, 2009 brought a rare Oklahoma killer tornado, deadliest of the year thus far, with 8 fatalities. Rated EF4, it was the strongest and deadliest tornado during February in Oklahoma in records dating back to 1880.

  • i live on north brock road about 200 feet from the road. we left my house about 4 minute before its took out the houses.

  • i was at the basketball game when we heard of the tornado coming. my friend took me to her place and we hid in her aunt's shelter. when it was over her mom took me home and on the way there we saw a lot of damage.

  • my house got dominated and my dog died

  • i remember that day my mom was freakin out but i wasnt

  • I was in it i was at my sister house we left and dive right in it we all ok now we did not see it all

  • thanks for sharing the Lone Grove tornado. Will Lone Grove build back Green like Greensburg, KS has done?

  • I remember that tornado me and a friend who are storm spotters for skywarn went south towards ardmore to intercept that supercell. Man it was by far the biggest one I have ever seen it is very eerie to see it backlit by lightning. And fyi it does sound like a freight train.

  • i live near lone grove

  • I was in it, and in Lone Grove when that happened. I was at my friends house, and then we heard the sirens go off. We pretty much dive bombed the shleter in the backyard, and when we came out, her house was damaged. :(

  • Great footage and amazing time lapse with the sunset.

  • Good video man. Very scary stuff.

  • A nice time lapse of sunset that dissolves into a nightmarish situation: a tornado, after dark, only seen when backlit by lightning. GEEZ. THAT'S scary. My heart breaks for those, affected.

  • The stuff of nightmares. GEEZ!! AWESOME vid; five stars!
