Great looking intro and includes some awesome close-ups of some fantastic belts...I have to admit, that Western States title is pretty sweet upon second look.
@wkruk1979 I love the comments from you guys. Its like a beautiful nostalgia trip. Wrestling of all types was a big part of my growing up. I watched any and everything we had access to
Yeah, Me too. They just replaced the NWA with WCW in the logo. But that's cool at least I can now see 99% of what I remembered thanks to this cool upload and I'm pretty happy!
Well, that followed by the sound of a ticking stopwatch and the words "I'm Mike Wallace...I'm Morley Safer...I'm Ed Bradley. Those stories and Andy Rooney tonight on 60 Minutes!"
@WWJD85 Yep lol. But like Saturday Night it meant pulling out the action figures and homemade(or store bought) wrestling rings and getting a little more play time in.
@bkstyle82 I used milk crates and boxes for rings. I had the AWA cage ring and the WWF ring. But I broke that stuff from too many hard bumps. I always hated retarded little kids that used to chew on their wrestlers. Stupid retarded cousin Jimmy, I don't wanna play with your chewed up Jimmy Snuka. God what did you do to his face?
Larry Zbyszko still has the original title in his possession. He never returned the belt when he left JCP to rejoin the AWA in late 1988/early 1989.
Reggie Parks and Dave Millican makes replica belts of the old NWA belts and they've made at least a couple replicas of the Western States Heritage title.
Use to come on right after Captain Planet
