@Gamer7511 It depends on the company but its about £750 over 5 days but over all with test fees, practice material and any class room stuff total cost is somewhere around £3000. Failing that if you don't mind being shouted and shot at you could always join the army and get it done for free.
@SMA380@1rhys2112 Yes quite right the one handed method or hand over hand is far superior and everyone does this after they pass their test. However being from Canada you would be unaware that the Driving Standards Agency who perform the examinations are an old fashioned bunch and require you to steer like this otherwise its an instant fail.
@SMA380 Yeah he was constantly criticizing and being hard on us. But explained it as, he was being more demanding than the examiners so that was easier when it came to our test. I think it worked as it did feel a lot less pressure on the day.
Your instructor sounds like he's not very giving but very quick to praise you on what you're doing correct and rightly so.
I'm due to sit my C in October some time, do you need to use the police man's 'pull-push' steering method or is it purely personal preference? After all, they're not teaching you how to drive, just learning to drive a bigger vehicle.

Why are you steering like an old man? Either go hand over hand or just use 1 hand, that is why u arnt turning quick enough.
