oxide is really easy if you know the uber shortcut in this level, it takes about 10 seconds off your time PER LAP. at the big bump before you get to the low gravity part (you'll know what I mean when you watch the video) you gotta try and make a jump to the left, out of the track, onto the normal road so you skip the entire low gravity part (where oxide doesnt use weapons in case you still didnt figure out which part I meant). it may take a bit of practise tho.

All you really have to do to win races on this level is put traps in the low gravity area. It easily takes about 8-9 seconds of time off of someone if they get hit. And for Oxide, he freezes completely when you use Red Potions on him, and he is also instantly hurt by TNTs, opening up many ways to make this an easy race.

that was my previous strategy :P I now stock up on wumpa fruit and then you usually get red potions anyway. I also use the ultra shortcut and I throw whatever potion I can get my hands on onto the turbos cos oxide almost always uses those

Lol, all the CPs use the turbos frequently. Even other players. Trubos are prime places to lay traps, unless you are racing someone with enough skill to us rthe turbo and avoid your trap, (Which isnt that hard. Just hit the very corner of the turbo and turn)

@SenseiMewto12345 Against other players infront of appleboxes are the best place. Apples are key to victory and the boxes use to be alone. Turbos are wide and easy to use even though theres a trap on them.

I beat oxide at all tracks on time trial and i had all platinum rellic except one on the n gin labs. And i can beat oxide at the final chalange without weapons this true

I remember my friend saying nitros was REALLY hard (I was still going through the game at this point), when i got to him, i was disapointed... I beat him first try, he wasn't hard at all =/ the previous bosses were harder than nitros =/ I need to get this game along with the first 3 crash bandicoots... May get spyro 1 and 3 too (Brought 2 again recent, nearly 100% in two days XD) oh i love this game... maybe more than mario kart :P

Rrr... I HATE Oxide. I go all that way just to face him, and then do you know what he goes and does? The bugger cheats and nicks off right before I'm given the green light!! AAAARGH!! I hate Oxide too. I prefer to race Velo rather than Oxide because Oxide cheats at the beginning and Velo starts when you're allowed to start.

Yeah, Oxide's a dirty rat. At least Velo's fair at the starting line... but once ya take off, that's a different story. Hyper Spaceway = hardest track in a racing game EVAR. @_@

you race him 2 times i think, 1 with the 4 keys, 2 with all the relics.

i've only done the first 1 myself, i suck at the game :), plus i chose pura... so that doesnt help

I chose Dingodile, but still speed isn't everything... turning is an essential. But I tried all platnium (which took forever) but I did it. Thanks for the advice.
