I don't think it's him flipping off the keyboard player but trying to signal the sound guy for his vocals. If you watch their '97 performance of Electra Made Me Blind on youtube you'll see him doing something similar around the same time in the video, albeit more explanable than in this video.
Oh yeah, he does the same thing in that video too! That's funny.
