Im Australian and i didnt realize the word 'heaps' wasnt a universal thing... i thought everyone said it. But i hope people dont think all Australians talk like you. I dont say g'day as it sounds extreamly common.. and i have never even heard this 'she'll be apples' thing.

I think dodgy can also = "suss" or "sus" (which I presume is an abbreviated "suspect") ~ Nice happy face you present to the world Paul. I also use "she'll be apples" and "g'day" a lot. I can't force a laugh on cue though, have to be genuinely tickled by something. Cheers mate.

Where I'm from Dodge is the site of one of the most famous shootouts in US Western history (Dodge KS). Don't think there's a correlation but it's common for midwesterners to say "Git the hell outta Dodge" as that was what Wyatt Earp reportedly said.

I don't think it's a good idea to laugh therapeutically on a full stomach :-)

Wow I'm Australian and I don't use Gday or She'll be apples. I also don't have such a strong accent as you do. I live in WA. How interesting. I do however us "mate" and "dodgy".

I wish I could laugh on command like that because it has been proven to be quite good for you. I just can't. My laughs need to be real. Forced laughs just annoy me for self health. There are other breathing and vocal exercises though.
