where in australia do we say "she'll be apples"? ive never heard that b4? how bout "neck up parrot", ur bonkers mate! its a good thing tho, keep it up. cheers!
What the hell mate?? This bloke's fully enthusiastic lol. Not normally would a typical Aussie bloke would get in front of a camera and act... like this dude. Wtf? lol. I don't even use the word "She'll be apples"
She'll be Apples! I love it! I'm Australian and never heard of anyone saying that before, but you never know, it might become a favourite saying in Aussie slang, thanks to your video.
Haha that laughing bit was hysterical! Don't think i've ever heard anyone say the apple one in adelaide. You probably should have explained the slang used in the intervals like kack.
Im Australian and i didnt realize the word 'heaps' wasnt a universal thing... i thought everyone said it. But i hope people dont think all Australians talk like you. I dont say g'day as it sounds extreamly common.. and i have never even heard this 'she'll be apples' thing.
LOL... Dag is so Aussie... I just watched it again... and I AM a dag... Wow... and the worst part is that 2289 people have watched me being a dag... sigh... I'm going to need therapy for this one ;-).
I'm an Aussie living in the United States, you don't know how much I miss the accent. So now when I get homesick I'll just tune into you :) My wife is an American and she says you and me have different accents! But I am a Tasmanian, and Tazmaniacs speak proper english, LOL!
I think dodgy can also = "suss" or "sus" (which I presume is an abbreviated "suspect") ~ Nice happy face you present to the world Paul. I also use "she'll be apples" and "g'day" a lot. I can't force a laugh on cue though, have to be genuinely tickled by something. Cheers mate.
Nice to "meet" you Paul :-) I actually sign off most of my IM sessions with g'nite...does that fly?
Where I'm from Dodge is the site of one of the most famous shootouts in US Western history (Dodge KS). Don't think there's a correlation but it's common for midwesterners to say "Git the hell outta Dodge" as that was what Wyatt Earp reportedly said.
I don't think it's a good idea to laugh therapeutically on a full stomach :-)
You're such a basket case. But very entertaining, too. I love the "fair dinkum" and the 10 seconds you took out to laugh at yourself. That was brilliant. xD And you have excellent video quality. Do you use a Mac with one of those built-in cameras? Or do you just have a really really good camcorder?
Wow I'm Australian and I don't use Gday or She'll be apples. I also don't have such a strong accent as you do. I live in WA. How interesting. I do however us "mate" and "dodgy".
I wish I could laugh on command like that because it has been proven to be quite good for you. I just can't. My laughs need to be real. Forced laughs just annoy me for self health. There are other breathing and vocal exercises though.
G'day Paul. Your freak'in nuts but interesting to watch. I'll be checking you out. Are you in sales? Or a grade school teacher? You seem like you could be either of those things.
Close... I am an internet marketer... I sell software and information online. I so couldn't see myself as a school teacher... I think I would have throttled some poor defensless trouble maker.

Probably. But overkill never hurt anyone (I think).

I find word "dodgy" in japanese ( please do not mention that japanese dont use alphabet ! i mean the sound is same)
and it has similar meaning ......like mistake or baga( is this australian word also?)
I was also wandering the word "heaps" .. it means like large amount or something.. is it ?
ye .. that(heaps) is also australian word isn't it ?
I recently got issue with my friends that "heaps" is world wide english word or not ...
yeah anyway keep going and good luck
mitsugmail 5 years ago
Thanks for your comment...
Yeah Bugger is similar to dodgy.... it is when you make a mistake and heaps is a very common word. Like I have heaps of CD's etc.
Thank you.

Had to look that one up at Dictionary.com ;-).
Effusive -
Unrestrained or excessive in emotional expression; gushy: an effusive manner.
Think I'll use that one in my next video.
