  • Very Nice Teaching.... :)

  • Have been trying to break down the groove at the end, I have something similiar but not the same, would be great if you could show us how to play that. Really helpful lesson, thanks.

  • these exercises are really helping me a lot, i've been playing drums like 3 years and just now i'm puting this stuff in my play, but what i really wanna know is the rithym you made in here 4:52 i want to play it but i can't figurate out how it goes! It's so good! Can you explain me? ("espero que me hayas entendido")--> ("i hope you understand what i say") grettings from México city.

  • nice kayla doing her homework !!!

look what a fine drummer she is !!1 ;-)))

the good thing about it is you CAN actually play those rudiments in a row and they sound very fluently and natural --

finally a presentation where i can use the paradiddles in a drum fill - that MAKES sense !!!

  • I can't concentrate watching the sticks...

  • can u break down that groove your play at the end?

  • Great lessons!

  • Paradiddlediddles are my fav rudiment ;]

  • thats a nice little groove you get going at the end. keep up the good work.

  • this is actually an excellent sticking to use for playing a mike portnoy style fill but with no double pedal. if i had a camera and actual drums at my disposal id show you what i mean. good job :)

  • Thank you!

  • yes, he did. you can see a video of her drumming in mike's channel. damn good. ^:)^

  • Yeah! I have been a student of Mike's for about a year and a half. He didn't teach me this exact exercise. This is one of my own, but Im sure it is Mike Johnston influenced. haha
