Not Jewish and not familiar with the Jewish traditions - still this is amazing and the music very amusing and the most interesting part is that the blacks and whites seem to get along very well.

A lot of the music is actually traditional Purim folk songs with a sweet techno background.
Purim is basically our excuse for getting smashed.
Ok not really, but it IS a good excuse :)

Purim is the festival of the book of Esther (sorry for giving the non-hebrew name). A Persian king wanted to kill all the Jews in his empire, instead Ester (a Jew) made it happen that the king died instead of the jews, the jews where exalted! That is what they celebrate. I think that they celebrate even more then this but this is what I know!

the kind didnt died instead, the rasha of aman (who wanted to kill the jews) died. Esther said to the king that she is jews and that the rasha of aman wanted to kill all of them so the king said that he wants to aman to die.
