@ratliff2006 forgot to add, this was a small altercation, not a big one. You shouldn't abandon game for that. That'd be stupid when it wasn't that big of a deal, and it was settled very quickly.

@ratliff2006 for that, the coaches can only be cautioned for entering the field without permission. Other than that, I agree. Eject both players, the keeper originally for "denying obvious goal scoring opportunity" and the white girl for fighting, and any parents that entered the field as well.

So, only the keeper got ejected and nothing for the white #1 player? If I was ref'ing this game, both would have been ejected and the parents that came onto the field. That kind of stuff only adds to the problem. One parent comes on, then another, then another, and so on. Can't have that in a game.

lol im a goalie, that was pretty unnecessary, all the tugging and fighting, at least, if you deal with a 1 v 1 situation correctly, aka-not letting the forward behind, lol. btw- what was the score in the end?

I have yet to see a full on fight like that in any of my games (knock on wood). I've had to send off a player for throwing a punch, but never a prolonged fight where 2 players exchanged punches. That's crazy.

- restart play with a penalty kick (which the goalie didnt even attempt to save-lol)

Red card for both players (violent conduct). Spectator or coach that came on the field should be ejected.

The red card on the keeper is for Denying the Obvious Goal Scoring Opportunity. The attacker is past her, with nothing but grass between her and the goal, and the keeper drags her down by the jersey.

Then, there should be a yellow card to the attacker for upending the goalkeeper.

Then, since you can't red card the keeper again, you note in the report for her red card that she came up swinging, and let the governing body deal with it.

I agree on some level, but here's how i would have handled it:

1. RC for DOGSO (Denying an Obviously Goal Scoring Opportunity) to the goalkeeper, noting in the report that the goalkeeper continued with 'Violent Conduct'

2. RC for the attacking player for 'Violent Conduct'

3. Restart play with a penalty kick.

Your right, your suppose to wait until they engage or the teamates come and separate them. I did the mistake of not waiting till the wild punches stopped and took one right in the temple...and it was a girl!
