Cooper turns 3 may 15th. Over the winter Cooper and the gang gained a little weight. Too much peanut butter and treats:). I would say he weighs 3.8 pounds. Needs to play ball more and get back into summer shape:) hope you have as much fun with your little chi like we do.

Today I was at an insurance agency and on a desk was a little dog bed and tiny but full-grown teacup chihuahua male. He and I play-fought and played tug of war for about 5 minutes. He was growling and biting my fingers and it was great. It really brought some cheer into my dreary day to play with this little dog. What a lucky fellow he was to spend the day with his owner at work! I've got a 110 pound Shepherd/Lab cross that would really like the little guy I met today.

the only problem with them is any Chihuahuas have joint problems.. its not deadly but its not comfortable.. have you ever seen a dog limping on 3 legs thats what it looks like even if you take excellent care of them.. thats why your vet will caution you NOT to let them jump of or on things.. be careful. He is a lovely dog. Congrats :]

@haitiankid09 dude seriously they are super cute but then again you have to take extra care of them cuz there real delicate take it from me my dad took his eyes off my dog for like two seconds nd he fell hit his head and died a week later from bad like really bad seizures so think about it maybe a dog a lil bigger that needs less attention tht you (me too) cant give a dog between studying nd hanging wit friends

@hurricaneandrew1988 if the dog is 6.5lbs it's not a "teacup". it has to be 2lbs & under FULLY GROWN to qualify as a "teacup". When i got my little boy he weighed 12oz, i was told he was a true "teacup" but he grew up to be 6.5lbs as well. But i love him just the same :)
