@MyYTFolder You have strong opinions dude - It's actually Deadmaus! He is also very boring, but commercial peep like him cos they like trance - It's also amazing that trance is actually not trancey at all - just commercial - house has a soul and also electronica too
man o man, you gotta love the female vocals from these old house tunes. they really sounded good on a loud system. made you tingle and rush and smile and snog the face face off your bird. happy days...
best times of my life 88 - 93 of mi nut not givin a fuck. if the e was still good i might even still be going but its not its shit so ended the best times of my life. shine on
@MyYTFolder we have all been channelled away from the scene by society, NOT as a result of age. If society accepted the club/rave/drug scene of the late 80's early 90's we'd still be there. It was too radical, too different to be accepted at the time so society rejected it and ravers/clubbers were stopped by such legislation as the criminal justice bill. We have all been conditioned to get careers, get married and pay tax....and not party
@MyYTFolder i'm 42 mate :) will just say if it is good music then it doesn't matter if it is made by an 80yr old or a 15 yr old or listened to by anyone in between. I am not expecting myself to dress in flouro colours and go to kids house parties anytime soon..been there done that one. peace
Killer memories. Echoes, Silver City, Dungeons. No booze, no bad vibes. Pure niceness, until the culture went half pub, half club...Plub. Piss heads, rock and government ruined it.
@MyYTFolder while i agree that the era you described was and still is the best era, remember this ...your should be an adult if you grew up in my era(86-94), you should also know this era was about drugs, dancing and talking to anyone who passed. Your comments make you sound like one of the fuckers that went to "our" clubs looking for trouble. At your age you shouldn't still be biting your crayons or relying on a carer to wipe your arse and yes, DEADMOU5 is not bad too.
89-93 Manchester - Konspiracy, Thunderdome, Hacienda then found Shelleys and headed down the M6 out of my box with a whole convoy every weekend. Shelleys became the club that you had to be at..."where you from, what you had, huge smile, give us a hug" amazing place fondly remembered...
@phuturejunglist is 100% right!! Ruined!! but the best years of my life never be forgotten, keep ya shite Dubstep this is where you were born!! don't forget it :)))
I like Bridgett Grace's voice for some reason. I can't quite place the reason why. I suppose it's because it's kind of funky. Anyway, it's good stuff/it's got a nice beat.
Brilliant waht The Prodigy did with this but without a doubt THIS WITHOUT A DOUBT IS MY ALL TIME FAVE HOUSE TRACK. Why does it always jump there? It used to do that back in the day!
i remember giving a lad £25 to lend me this choon so i could play it in one set due to a request from a really fit bird that kept asking to hear it so one night i said only if yer get yer tits out

Wicked tune from when music WAS music and not the commercialised shit that's out now. A big shout out to to all those that are posting these old tunes and keeping the memories alive.

Great! But I'm looking for a remix from 90 years played a lot in the dance floors. That one starts with a strong melody and a house beat. Amazing that people doest remember that...

@AsoSako Yep, I did READ what you put, and I commented saying you've obviously not been to the right places and/or heard anyone of any merit. You said Techno sucks, yet this track was done by Jeff Mills...one of the Techno pioneers who STILL releases and STILL dj's out to this day. So in essence, saying techno and clubs now all suck is heavily misinformed.
@hypercatjohn You are lucky then, not where I live at man. I know there's still good techno, and I listen to it privately, just not in the clubs anywhere close to where I live at and there are a lot of clubs in my area. I felt like I can generalize because techno clubs with good music like the one we are referring to is becoming a hard to find thing, at least for me.
Great track. The has been sampled and resampled numerous times. Most recently by the prodigy, and before that, the crystal method. I have this acapella and have made a new track incorporating it. I can't spam address here but if anyone wants a link, send me a personal message. For those interested, it's a drum and bass track in the same vein as black sun empire crossed with shockone. Peace
